It was not quite as nice as the website makes it sounds. The rooms are bare bones and don't have toiletries in the bathroom. You stay more in a hotel/motel like building instead of the cure one in the pictures. The manager was very nice and helpful giving great suggestions for town. BE WARNED most of the town shuts down after September so you will have limited food choices.

The room and bathroom were totally adequate, neither a highlight nor a detraction, but the views were stunning. Each room has a balcony overlooking the fjord, along with the larger general purpose patio and sitting room, we spent a lot of time outside. I would totally stay here again. Our interactions with the staff were good too! They gave us a quick overview of the area, and when we got off the ferry there was a van that took our luggage up the hill to the hotel (less than a 5 min walk).

I had a great stay at the Midtnes. It's a quaint little Norwegian hotel in a quaint little Norwegian town and it all comes together in a wonderful way. The rooms are clean, if a little dated in terms of aesthetics, and the staff is friendly. They also have a shuttle that will pick you up from the docks.

If you have the opportunity, you won't be disappointed with the stay here.

Lovely hotel with millionaire dollar view of the fjords. Room is basic but comfortable and clean. Have unobstructed view of the fjords. Service is friendly. Breakfast is delicious!! Great value for what you pay for. Would definitely return to stay here.

I only visited a friend who was staying here, but it was definitely nice compared to the other hotels in that area, and they had free breakfast which they said was very good. I would stay here next time I'm in that town.

A wonderful family place. If you're lucky and get a room on the last floor, you might enjoy a beautiful view of the fjord. Breakfast is also plentiful and delicious.

We stayed here in august 2015.
Rooms a bit basic, no tv, but what a view
The owner is very nice and helpfull
Towed my car when i was stuck on hill.

Breakfast is also very good

An ideal place to come to rest.
