Loved this place in a tiny fjord town!! No TV, you won't need it. Friendly staff willing to help with anything. Excellent breakfast, 5 minute walk from ferry, heated bathroom floors. What's not to love!

Fjord view is simply stunning. Our room has a nice porch and large windows to enjoy it. The family that runs the hotel is very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

Quite a modern building nice rooms with great views sizable breakfast with Norwegian options for some local flavour. Very friendly free luggage transfers to the ferries. 👍👍

Had a room with fjord view. It was amazing. I didn't want to leave. I sat on my balcony for 4 hours, reading and watching the summer sky change colors. Definitely would recommend. Bring your own toiletries if you're particular about your shampoo/body wash. The ones at the hotel are very basic and no conditioner.

Very clean and friendly with an amazing views. The fjord view rooms are well worth it. Slightly dated decor but that's more quaint than it might be in another setting

A wonderful stay. A family run hotel with people who truly care about their guests. They pick up (and drop off) your luggage from the ferry (it's a great 7 minute walk from the pier) and are there to answer any questions or request you have. They went way above to assist us in our stay. The rooms are simple and clean. (No tv, but the other hotels didn't either; you should be outside exploring anyways). The included breakfast had a very nice variety of things to eat. Wasn't a full hot breakfast, but was way more than continental, or what typical hotels would provide. If I go back to this beautiful town to explore more, I will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel! Cozy place to stay in Balestrand. The owners are amazing and do everything to offer a pleasant stay.
