Nice location if you don't want to be in the center, really close to the museum zone. The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. The room small but good enough. The only but could be the variety of the breakfast l. Definitely recommendable.

The location is in uptown, 20-30 minutes to downtown. Very good staff, rooms are clean, the people who come here are pretty chilled out too. Highly recommend!

Went in expecting the worst, but this place was surprisingly nice. Staff was excellent, room & amenities were clean, beds were comfortable. Did not expect the under-bed lockers to be as big as they were.
They even let us use the kitchen to make the food we had just bought from the farmer's market. Given the chance, we would definitely do this one again.response / report this review -

I went with my husband for two nights only. It was our first experience in a mixed dorm and I have to say that I was surprised! The beds were very comfy, the duvet excellent and the bathrooms were clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the bar as well. I didn't have breakfast because I had to leave before but I saw toast and juice!

This was my first hostel that i have ever stayed in and i was shocked that it was so great! Ive heard some terrible hostel stories but these folks do it right! Aussie staff were great,friendly and helpful, the dorms were clean, bags could be locked away securely and the shower rooms were spotless. Thanks guys see you in November

Room was clean, bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable. The bathroom is in the room and our room on the ground floor had no window or door, so it was very humid. Aside from that the staff are chill and the food and drinks are well priced. As with most hostels you need to pay for a towel. They also have a smoking room with a pool table.

It's a good location and the people are nice. The structure is good, but it has too many stairs which makes it difficult for those who have a large suitcase or need mobility. There's a smoking area that is 'green friendly' like a lot of places in the city, so for some people it may be uncomfortable.

This place is amazing! The staff + amenities + general atmosphere of the hostel made for an amazing few nights in Amsterdam. Try and book at least a month in advanced if you want a room, and even earlier if you're trying for a spot at the downtown location.

The staff are all really friendly and chatty. The price is acceptable for its cleanliness and location, but for Solo Travellers this place might not be the best option to meet New people. overall this place works for me. Would recommend.

Great hostel for young adults! Great staff and good prices. Make sure you are prepped for hostel life though! Hostels aren't for everyone. Would definitely recommend, within 5 minutes of metro stops .

They vacuum the rooms every day and make the beds. They provide a continental breakfast including hard boiled eggs, several cereals, toast with jam and Nutella, orange and apple juice, and assorted fruit slices. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bar is cash only and has good options for agreeable prices. Smoking area allows tobacco and cannabis. Kitchen is small but gets the job done. About 5 minutes walking from the I Amsterdam sign and about 20-25 minutes walking from De Oude Kerk (for someone still learning to navigate the city center).

Good place, a bit conjested. The locker facility, bedding and the cool and awesome breakfast! The location is perfect for visitors as the meusems are all right there! The crew is extremely courteous and helpful!

A little out of the centre but close to the museums and leidseplein (for bars). Rooms were fine. Staff friendly. Bar is decent and was lively while I was there - although not super cheap. Beds are pricey on the weekends.

Brilliant hostel with superb friendly service. The only downside was the moving to be on top of a bunk which was a problem. Otherwise its great socializing with other people there and drinking at the bar there.

Awesome service, incredible breakfast, and an amazing bar/smoking room. I kind of wish they had a more relaxed area to hang out like a dining room but oh well. Showers are mostly small but there are some bigger ones if you know where to find them. Great location.
