The hotel was located in a quiet and nice area, the only problem was the stairs leading to the rooms, it was very steep and dangerous.

I am a non-smoker
I cannot close the window so the smoke from the next room kept filling our space
Otherwise not bad with unexpectedly good breakfast

I couldn't recommend this place more. It's in a great location, smoking allowed in the rooms ;-) lovely balcony overlooking what a would assume is a real traditional courtyard area in Amsterdam. I will definitely be staying here again when I return.

Noisy surroundings, main road, tram, pedestrian crossings, car horns, sirens etc can all be heard. It's a good 20 minute walk from the centre. The rooms are basic, beds not that comfortable, shared bathroom. However, there's a lovely park nearby, supermarket underneath, tram stop outside, and very very cheap. Staff are friendly and the place is generally clean enough. !!!WEED FRIENDLY ROOMS!!! as long as you don't set off the fire alarms they're happy for you to smoke. This isn't a romantic hotel, nor one to bring kids, it's one to shortlist if you want to do dam cheaply, without shared room hostels, and if smoking in your room is a requirement. As long as you only intend on sleeping there, you'll be reasonably happy (just bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper)

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, great location, great breakfast. The wi-fi is reliable. Overall, a very chill vibe. I recommend!

Basic budget hotel..no lift but breakfast was very good. A bit pricy compared to the services they provide

Basic hotel but it is clean and comfortable. Feels more like a hostel but I guess that doesn't matter. Simple but adaquate breakfast. Good wifi and nice staff. Stayed at this hotel twice and I would stay again.
