Rooms were a bit small considering the number of beds in a single room. The hotel is located close to the Van Gogh museum, it's just a 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. The other facilities are good too.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Cute cat. Rooms were basic but sufficient for a night's sleep. Loved it.

Nice staff, but horrible hostel.
No common area, horrible atmosphere, no microwave, no kitchen, no washing facilities, no towel rental and its overpriced.
You won't enjoy your stay in Amsterdam if you're travelling solo.

Friendly staff and adorable resident cat Simba. Only 4 showers which can be an inconvenience with 20 plus guests. Not far from museums and sites, cafes and restaurants.

Rooms are very cramped - but otherwise clean and decent. Bathroom is generally nice and well maintained. No other facilities though. Wifi works well

This place is INFESTED with BED BUGS!! I have been suffering with bites that all over my body!! The amount of money I had to spend on medication to treat these is not worth the stay at this hostel. I have read through the reviews and it seems that this is a problem they have had for months and have not cared to resolve. I don't care what it says on their house rules about them not being held responsible for insect bites!!!!! It's appalling that they still rent out their rooms! I will be reporting this to the GGD.

Though it's the cheapest hostel in Amsterdam area, the decoration is obsolete, the passageways are narrow, and the room is terribly stinky! No laundry, paid lockers, the roommates returned late in group every night, talking regardlessly, making a lot of noice.

Beds are uncomfortable and squeezed in very close together, plus I'm reasonably sure they don't wash their linens in between guests! They were certainly yellow enough. Definitely bed bugs in the beds, I saw one crawling up the wall and I have bites all over my back and there's even a sign in the hostel saying they're not responsible for bug bites! Only three single bathrooms for the entire three-floor hostel. Do not stay here.

Bathrooms are clean albeit small. No kitchen, just a small lounge that can fit ca. 7 people with vending machines (coffee, snacks etc). Hosts are friendly and have no problem communicating in english. Location is very good near museumplein with lots of options to go to amsterdam centraal. One less star because you have to pay to store our luggage even after checking in. Later after checking out, we have to pick it up before 4 p.m. The storage isn't that good anyway, no special room, just stowed away in the small lounge. But this is understandable because of the tiny space this hostel is occupying. P.s. 1000 stars for lovely house cat named Simba :)
