Our flight got cancelled so we were offered a stay here. Room decor remembers 70-ties. Excellent lunch buffet. Place is huge. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to airport. Frequent shuttle service.

I was amazed by the hotel interior, I realy liked it. The exterior it is not so great and you need to take the shuttle to visit the city. The food was also great. Three stars because of the exterior look and the distance between the hotel and everything else.

Good hotel for travelers. Far from the city bit only 5 min from the airport. Excellent quality and huge, which means long walking distances from the car to the reception ant then to the rooms.
Book we'll in advance if possible as it tends to be fully booked all the time

We are here for 7 days so far so good . Comfortable beds good size room but no fridge lol. Busy hotel for the airport. Food not cheap. This place has a lot of charm to it. I would definitely recommend it.

Hallo. Our stay at van der Valk was good. The evening meal was very good with a nice ambiance. Price wise very good. Well done. We will come back any time we travel via Schiphol Airport

Great location near main road and close to schiphol Airport. Great place to eat, bug portions, fresh and decent prices. Restaurant is being redesigned currently. Brasserie is a nice place to spend time with a drink. Friendly staff

Service was exceptional, fast efficient and professional. I was there due to a late flight causing me to miss my connection. Room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Food also very good.

In general very nice hotel. Though the rooms in the right aisle are quite old and though not really really nice to stay in. But the fact that you have access to a private yard when staying ground fool is very appreciable especially in the summer. You should think about putting some tables over there in summer time do the guests can really enjoy the outsides

Great Hotel with good service! The room was very clean with modern furniture. The Hotel itself was very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The hotel has a huge amount of rooms, which makes the breakfast room sometimes a little bit too overloaded and noisy.

To be honest; only the room is decent. The restaurant is not that good, just average food with too high prices in my opinion .. for what you get in return for your money.. the surroundings, the restaurant and the reception don't match in style, if you like a modern hotel then you shouldn't come here ..
This is just my opinion, but my girlfriend and I are definetely not coming back here for sure .

This hotel is pretty awesome. There's a free shuttle from Schiphol that's super convenient, since the trains to anywhere run from the airport. The breakfast buffet is amazing. There is seriously something for everyone: fresh fruit, vegetables, cured meats, rice, chicken nuggets, eggs, sausage, croissants, soup, hard and soft boiled eggs etc. The rooms are nicely appointed with beds, a separate room for the toilet and the sinks and shower are in the open. The shower partition barely covers half the length of the tub. Get ready for a wet floor. There's a hot towel rack that speeds up the drying time. The customer service at the hotel is great. They're all very helpful and we called the front desk a few times and walked up to the counter and we were always met with friendly smiles and efficient service. Would stay here if you're looking for something close to the airport and not in the heart of Amsterdam. Oh, free parking for the first 24 hours ,which is awesome if you want to rent a car and explore the area.

Stayed in April of 2015. Love the hotel. They were renovating and we stayed on the new, more modern half. Rooms were nice, grounds were nice and they also provide transport to the train.(The train is the best way to get to the heart of Amsterdam if you have never been.) We drove from Germany and stayed three days. Ate in the hotel restaurant three days straight. Would stay again.
