Nice lobby, friendly staff
Great we place in Rotterdam. Very clean and tidy, and the staff were really friendly. Very near to the city centre. It does not have the facility of bigger hotels, but it's a wee gem
Nice small hotel, room were clean, breakfast was ok, shower pressure a little low.
Ok spot with reasonable prices near the Coolsingel metro station and Euromast. Clean rooms. I paid 60 euro for a single room
WARNING: be very careful in your dealings with the management of Hotel Port, specifically Mr Twal Vioc, the manager. I rented bicycles from him at Hotel Port, they were poorly maintained, and one bicycle's axle broke when we were several kilometers away at the Kinderdijk Windmill Park. I phoned Hotel Port immediately, and they advised that I should seek repairs. I convinced a very accommodating mechanic in a bike shop to make the repair as quickly as he could (1.5 hours, when he originally told me bike wouldn't be ready until following morning). I spent nearly €25 on the repair, with the understanding that Hotel Port would reimburse me. Well, that was not the case. Mr Twal Vioc would not fully reimburse me for the expense, to say nothing about his lack of sympathy, or that this maintenance issue ruined my day's adventure, taking me out of my way to find a bike shop, wait for the repair, then be delayed in my return to Rotterdam for an evening event. Very frustrating. Unscrupulous. Stingy. Heartless. I cannot recommend Hotel Port, and based on my interaction with the management, would advise others to choose other accommodations in Rotterdam. There are many other hotels in this and surrounding neighborhoods.
Cute and cheap hotel, nice stuff and garden, the room was much too warm due to the sun which is the hole day in the room and no way to cool it
Rooms and location are nice. Perfect for short trips.
