Nice, decent and affordable hotel. Very basic, but clean and modern. Perfect for when you just need a place to lay down your head. There is a supermarket around the corner.

This was an easy and nice place to stay just outside of Amsterdam. The hotel was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. It is only a couple minutes to the train station which is only about 20 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal. There is also a grocery store right across the street that is nice.

Decent hotel. No included amenities. If you want a single bed you have to pay for the king room. Clean. Staff were friendly. Much better hotels in the area.
UPDATE: Changed to a 2 star. There is no toilet paper rolls, only those thin square toilet paper Kleenex dispensers that are common in airports. The towels are old, one had an old blood spot on it, the blankets didn't fit the bed. Internet barely streams Netflix. You can hear people in the next room banging around.response / report this review -

A little hard to find with a local sending us in completely the wrong direction as most didn't seem to know where it was. Lovely clean spacious well equipped room with nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good with some hot servings of bacon, egg and baked beans.

I came here to accompany friends who were guests at the hotel. The public areas and rooms were very clean, with pretty fresh decor. The staff were kind. There is plenty of information about the surrounding area available in the lobby. The location is good since it is very near the station, with a frequent train service to Amsterdam (12 minutes) and walking distance to the town center. There is parking available and the room key operates the barrier.

Good rooms, 5 min from the station it's a perfect base to visit Amsterdam, it also has a supermarket nearby. Free parking lot too..great

The location is just off the Zaandam station which makes it very convenient from the airport. There is a grocery next door (cash only) and an entire town of shops within walking distance. The room was up to date, clean, and comfortable. Large t.v. and hot water kettle, but no coffee maker. The windows actually open wide which is very nice, and different than hotels in the states. Service was amiable and professional.

Away for a few days to Amsterdam with my chum and we had booked a twin comfort room. When we got to the room there was one kingsize bed. As we had arrived early afternoon we went out for a wander and went past reception to ask about having 2 beds. The girl at reception's response was no. She told me that we had been up graded to a suite and the bed couldn't be split. Asked for another room but none available. The room had a sofa bed so said I would use this then to which she told me there was a nightly charge of €30. Now I live my friend to bits but sharing a bed with her for 4 nights was not what we had planned. After the first night I spent the next 3 nights sleeping on the sofa without actually making up the sofa bed as there was no spare bedding. Other then that hotel was good. Location suited us, great access to train station etc.

Its such a cozy hotel with such warm staff and the rooms are definitely lovely. The bed was comfy and the space was not so big but enough and the bathroom was clean!! Will definitely stay here again and not forgetting the breakfast which was perfect. A great selection that make me wish i can have it everyday. Highly recommended!!

Hotel was lovely and very happy once we upgraded from a double (two singles pushed together) to a king size bed. Came for a dirty weekend away and that's not gonna happen in a single bed! Haha. Can't fault most of the staff although one of the desk staff came across as a little aggressive, though this might have just been the language barrier. Would stay here again.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Beautiful spacious rooms, lovely staff, and very close to the train station to head into the city centre which is only 2 stops away. Would definitely come back again.
