Good hotel, very friendly staff, close to the city centre of Alkmaar, can be reached easily by car but also by train or bus. All in all a very nice place to stay if you want to visit Alkmaar and its surrounding places.

Neat and quiet rooms, large bathroom. No restaurant in the hotel but close by there are a lot of options. Good breakfast. Wi-Fi is free an fast enough, power outlets where they need to be.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use a bit of paint. When you're sleeping at the front of the hotel you have a lot of noise from traffic. we have changed rooms at our stay, the rooms not directly facing the road don't have as much noise. The personnel is friendly.

This is a great hotel close to the heart of Alkmaar. I stayed in a hotel right in the middle of town and it was terrible with the noise. I sounds like an old man, but people partying all night, the church bells go off every 15 min and the birds wake up at 4am. Do yourself a favor and stay slightly away and sleep in. The rooms here are spacious and clean. They seem to have all the typical amenities. Breakfast was good, but a little odd to have to schedule a breakfast time on the weekends. It's a small area so that is likely why. Spring for a river side room, much nicer view.

Hotel and food O.K but if you left behind any of your belongings that will be lost for ever . We called them same day about our left over belongings they ignored us big time Do not go there if you want to get take care of you after the factsa Go some where else

The room we had was just in front of the lift. Hence it's really noise whenever people are walking around.

The room was quite large, beds comfortable, staff friendly, and location is great. I would definitely return if I was planning on visiting Alkmaar again.

With only a 4 minutes walk to the City Centre this hotel is very well located for a night out in the town. Good sized rooms and the bathrooms contain somewhat larger bath tubs as well. The wall mounted hairdryer was too weak for normal use unfortunately. On the second floor, where we stayed, the room doors slammed shut and did wake us when other guests entered their rooms. Walls seem thick enough to keep most noises from neighbours out. Under the hotel car parking from the hotel was possible, although not many spaces are available. Best advise the hotel a parking space is required before arrival. Hotel doesn't have a proper restaurant but does serve breakfast and has a bar section, we didn't try these.
Overall a hotel worth the 50-80$/night price tag, helped by friendly staff and excellent location.response / report this review
