Everything works. Don't think resort. If you want to experience the local culture this is a good place to stay. Pretty central. Walking distance to pretty much everything.

Under new management, improvements in progress, but grounds and rooms were beautiful, clean and very large. English speaking staff for checking in. Food was great and staff very friendly.

Super friendly staff! (And very good at English in case Spanish is not your forte.) Cheap beers, decent food and an okay size pool relative to number of rooms. The owner is very nice and gave us a lift to the ferry. Things to improve: sunchairs, more tables with sunscreens, shelves in the bathroom.

Great hotel, very clean, great location, staff were excellent.
We stayed one night ( actually left a high end place that was far away on extremely rough road ). Staff and service was amazing.
Breakfast was included and delicious as well.

Recently under new management. Very nice managers and staff. They arranged for a driver for us for a day at a much lower cost than the tours. The grounds and pool are well maintained and secured at night. The room is clean and spacious. Daily cleaning is upon request. Good healthy breakfast. The location is close enough to the town center. It’s just far enough away that the club music from downtown isn’t a bother.
The shower does have just one temperature but it really hasn’t been a problem and I had read that would be typical in Nicaragua.response / report this review -

VERY CLEAN! Pretty, comfortable, pleasant, good location, not expensive at all (40 us$). There is no hot water in the shower, but thats the standard here.

Rooms have decent bed and A/C. Shower trickles cold water only. Cable TV is very fuzzy - maybe 5 watchable channels. We checked in at night and didn't see the condition of the pool until the following day. The pool is so full of algae you won't want to be near it. We traded the convenience of being in town for a place to relax at the pool for a few days. Asked for a discount due to the condition of the pool. NOPE. Way overpriced for what we paid! You can stay in town with similar accommodations for a lot better prices when you consider the unusable pool.

Stayed for 3 nights. 60USD/night. Rooms were not clean or cleaned daily. Tap had barely water, shower only cold. Pool used by locals; overcrowded. Pool has only 2 beds which were both broken.
Breakfast only 1 plate with poached egg, toast and rice with beans. 1 girl did everything; cleaning, breakfast, etc. 7 days a week, sweet girl but we felt very sorry for her.
Oké standard for Nicaragua, but definitely not for this price.response / report this review -

La atención es excelente, las instalaciones son muy limpias y cómodas, los desayunos son buenos, además tiene una piscina amplia. Recomendado.
