Beautiful property, comfy rooms, friendly staff and owners our stay there was very pleasant.
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is for the restaurant part, the portions are small for the price. Also they don’t really have veggie-friendly options.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was great to be able to get away from the noisy town at night. Perfect location with an extraordinary view. Food was good and the staff very friendly. the rooms were a little bit small but clean.

Great spot! Romantic, secluded, and cozy. The restsurant offers some Belgian cuisine which was wonderful, although pricey for what you are getting! Service is very much on local time. For the price, I would have expected more prompt & friendly service.

My stay at this beautiful hotel was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The hotel is located in the coastal hills of San Juan Del Sur. Since it’s not in town you have a beautiful, relaxing retreat after long days adventuring, with easy access and free shuttles to and from the city center. There are also a number of amenities available for guests, as well as fabulous food. The staff proved to be very knowledge, professional, attentive, and kind. I was completely blown away by the owners who went out of their way to make my experience easier and more enjoyable, all while seeming genuinely happy to help. I would recommend a stay at El Jardin to anyone, and I’ve been raving about it to all my friends and family. If you’re going to San Juan there’s no better place to stay.

Can you give half a point?, 3.5 stars is max. because not all the rooms are nice but the place is nice overall. Friendly staff and good service. Get a room with ocean view the other ones are only ok.

What a beautiful place just outside of San Juan del Sur. Colourful, spavious rooms, nice swimming pool and the best view of the sea since El Jardin is located on top of a hill. Perfect to enjoy the sunset! Lovely atmosphere and good breakfast. Recommended if you seek a more quiet and beautiful place to enjoy the views!

A very pleasant hotel to stay at. The staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurant has some great choices for dinner. The rooms are clean and air air-conditioned. I highly recommend this hotel. My only suggestion is to rent a four-wheel drive vehicle if you plan to drive here as the road is unimproved.

If you really want to forgot the noise of the city, take your mind up to the highest level of peace, this was what your looking for, A hidden treasure. It does matter how much do you spend In here, the nature returns you 10 times in a the most amazing way.

Best place to go if you ever want to enjoy your time in San juan del sur.
It is a little a side the town , a true place and "havre de paix" where you get the best breakfast ever around before to start a day of adventure, beautifull view from the top of the hill and great rooms!! The young "french/flamish" couple who look after the place are just so cool and lovely and the rest of the team as well . Not to forget that for the awsome standing the prices are the best you ll get around !!! I loved it *response / report this review -

The location is stunning, with an uninterrupted view down the hill to the Pacific. Our room was clean, modern and perfect for the climate.
The warmth and hospitality of the staff was faultless. Breakfast was generous and well made, I'd almost go back for this alone.
All of this coupled with two lovable black labradors made this close to the perfect stay. My only regret is that I wasn't there for longer!response / report this review -
