I have stayed in many places and this is one of the best. Very spacious and more importantly up-to date rooms. Bathroom was fantastic with a rainfall shower head and a separate tub. If u get the studio you can open the door while u are in the tub and feel like u are outside! Room has fridge,microwave,stove , and available washer and dryer. Breakfast was amazing. Not impressed with the Mexican food onsite. Several pool options and activities on location. Also recommend booking a tour.

The views were amazing and the rooms had washed and dryer. I didn't expect it to come in handy but it certainly made a load of difference (see what I did there😏) when we extended our stay a couple more days. When staying here it’s best to walk across to the mall where you’ll get discounts at certain restaurants for staying at the Westin. Parking is also free and if you need a rental, there are a few dealers across the street for cheap.

Very nice contemporary resort for families and couples alike. Many large pools, putt putt golf, giant checkers among the offered activities. If you want to hang out find The hammocks by the pool and read a book under the palm trees. This resort has kitchenettes in the rooms along with common grills throughout the resort for grilling out. Nice beach, but the current can be very strong. I would not recommend the beach for young children who want to body surf and do water activities the current is just to strong. If you are looking for a fun pool with a water slide you will enjoy this hotel.

Thought the place was of good value while maintaining quality service. Doubt it's the luxury of the Ritz-Carlton, but it's what we were looking for. We were looking for a sweet that had a refrigerator, stove top, and microwave. Got one of their efficiencies. Didn't really try to restaurants because there was the mall across the street that had some restaurants we enjoyed. Also enjoyed walking across the street and sitting by the Lagoon rather than the beachfront because it was a lot less windy.

Have a great pool. Also enjoy the workout room. I'm sure there are better rooms that can be rented, but it was good for a family that didn't really want to be in their room. They have good small activities for kids. They have a market on premises, but if you're willing to walk five or six minutes down the road they have an entire grocery store in the mall.

Oh my gosh. I love it here. The employees here are genuinely joyful and enjoy they jobsthey always go above and beyond and are extremely friendly. So the service here is ALWAYS phenomenal Even at the breakfast buffet, which is self serve, three separate servers stopped to ask if I needed help while I looked confused deciding what to eat.

The rooms are lovely, the grounds always look impeccable. There are special little touches like hammocks on the resort so you always have whatever you want! Not to mention the signature white tea scent.

You can't go wrong with this place. Bring your family, bring your friends. They've got everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

OMG! So glad we stayed here. The drinks were amazing but the poolsunreal! A great place for couples and it was nice that there weren’t many children (time of year probably). Very well kept grounds and nice proximity to the mall. I have stayed at 5+ resorts in Cancun & this is a winner in my book! I’d go back for sure.

Timeshare weekly accommodations. Attentive staff. Scheduled housekeeping a few times during stay. Washing machine & dryer in each suite(detergent provided). Kitchen and ocean views in all suites. Great spa. Services in spa & also in beach huts. Concierge to help book events. On-site amenities (pools ++, games, events; exercise groups, kids club, scheduled movies, wifi and cable, outdoor tennis, large chess, ocean toys, theme evenings) and directly across the street from a safe outdoor mall (aquarium, movie theatre, shops, bars and restaurants)

Was in studio loft room. Nice room but cramped for family of four. Variety of eating places across the street. Pool nice but part of it was under renovation. Staff nice. Would recommend bigger 1 bedroom loft for families. Mall down street with grocery choices

This is the first time my wife and I have ever stayed at a resort. It's not too far from the airport. Check-In was easy but a little longer process than a hotel in the states. We arrived at 2:30 but they said our room would not be ready until 4, which seemed questionable as we were there during the off season and it wasn't really that crowded. The room is nice sized, equipped with a stove, fridge, washer/dryer with a nice view of the pools and beach. All of the staff was very nice (it seems like all of the Mexicans we interacted with were very nice). The food at the resort was just ok so I'd recommend checking out the local nearby eats. If we ever come back to Cancun, we would consider staying here again.

This our third trip here in 7 years, and every time we visit it is better. The staff is incredibly friendly and hard working. They keep adding more traditional Yucatan cuisine to the menu, which is phenomenal. They just recently added a Mayan culture night with traditional dances. Amazing. Plus, they have a sea turtle conservation program. They guard the nests and release the babies into the Ocean when they are ready. It is spectacular.

The resort is beautiful especially the rooms with the balcony. Waking up to the view of the ocean and sounds of waves is exactly my style. I have a gluten allergy and I ate abundantly. Each restaurant had various varieties and they ensured I had something to eat. Everything was above my expectations. Thank you to all the staff at Westin. :))

All rooms have a view of the turquoise sea. One pool flows into the next. Attentive staff. A real vacation! We had a kitchenette so we could make breakfast and have it on our terrace before starting the day. The room also has a washing machine and dryer if you want to use it on vacation. There is a sliding door between the tub and room. You can have a bath with a view of the sea. We loved our relaxing vacation at the Westin!

Great service from excellent staff. Good value and safe place for couples n families alike. Very well maintained and beach is right here as well as shopping. Sea turtles are coming on beach right outside room balcony nightly to lay and bury their eggs. Buses are abundant and cost $1 US dollar per person to go any where on bus route.

We had an amazing time in Cancun and Westin Lagunamar! The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived until we left 5 days later. The concierge was very helpful. The resort is beautiful, definitely family-friendly but just exudes relaxation. I spent a few hours in the spa getting a massage on the beach and a wrap treatment, what an amazing pampering experience - I loved every moment of it! Actually I could go for round two now. The rooms had allot of awesome amenities and we had a wonderful ocean view. We enjoyed the pool and the beach, lots of food and drinks, and you'll find allot of local shopping and restaurants near the hotel. We'll definitely stay here again, thank you for a wonderful mini vacation! Hopefully next time we'll have more time to do a timeshare tour.

The location is amazing!! You won't believe the ocean is real, but it is! The rooms are very spacious and clean. Our room had a spectacular view of the ocean! The staff was all very friendly and helpful! Overall, this was a great vacation experience.

We arrived on an early flight and got to the hotel at 10am. They offered me a corner, obstructed view room that was available immediately, but I asked if there were any better options closer to the main pill and with a view. It took quite some tine for them to cave and offer a room in building 7, but not until 4pm (she said it could be available earlier and they would email me if so). We checked our luggage, got our bathing suits on and headed to the pool. My little ones were napping at 4 so we waited until 5 to go check in. When I went up he informed me it was not going to be clean for another 45 minutes. Frustrated, we decided to head across the street to check out the "mall", which is more of a tourist trap, and came back around 6pm. I was then told our room was still not available and would be at least another hour. They offered a few other options that were clean, all of which had crap views (one was underground I thought they were all ocean view.) Now it's 7:50 and we are just now in our room Kind of ridiculous. Room is nice and spacious, we have the 1br side. View is very good as we ended up, after all that, in building 9, one of the three best for ocean views.

This place is absolutely beautiful and so fun!! A bunch of friends, my boyfriend and I went two summers ago and it was truly the best time. The food was awesome, the drinks were great and the whole atmosphere was just great!! The rooms were gorgeous,spacious and so clean.The pool is gorgeous, the infinity pool where you look over and see the ocean. This trip was truly amazing and of course being with awesome friends and family made it even better. I highly recommend staying here. Everyone was so so friendly and welcoming!! :) Thank you Westin Lagunamar, I would love to come back some time in the future.

Fantastic place! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. The restaurants have very good quality food, the on location market has smoothies and coffee drinks along with the necessitates for grilling, breakfast or a late night snack. The beach and pool are outstanding, the beach or pool are a great place to order a beverage and or meal which is brought to you so you do not miss the rays of the sun. Right across from a wonderful mall for shopping. The exchange rate has been great the last few years ranging from 13 to 21 pesos to a dollar. Live like a king or queen. Be sure to go downtown Cancun and enjoy the benefit of a strong dollar. Visit the Maya Museum and other cultural spots while in Mexico! You will love it.
