Our favorite resorts in Mexico so far. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The swim out suites were excellent. It is adult only and they have plenty of areas to find quiet and privacy considering how many people the resort holds. Will definitely return in the future.

This is the most relaxing place I have visited in years. The alcohol is non stop. The food is really good. You can't swim in the ocean because the tides and current are too strong. The pool is awesome. The room is very big and the bed is comfortable. The shower is spectacular. This is the most relaxing adult vacation I have had in years. By the way it is 21 and up

If your looking to stay at the resort and sit by the pool and eat and drink without kids it's a great place. The wait staff is excellent a little slow on their English, but very friendly and helpful. However everyone is pushing u to sit for a timeshare meeting and when u don't show interest they don't treat u the same. It's not a golf resort if u are playing golf. You will have to pay for a cab back and forth to the course. It's an ok course nice views. U will need to pay for it at the hotel 1st you cannot charge to your room. You can't swim at the beachproblem! There really isn't any management around to help u if anything changes. We won't be going back. They are more interested in turning the property into a timeshare resort.

Let me first start by saying that Los Cabos is just a awesome place to visit and so is Secrets EXCEPT: When you first arrive you will be greeted with a nice towel and champagne, then taken to check in then, the nightmare begins! After check in you will be taken to a desk and most people thinks its part of the check in process well its not. It's where you will be pressured to attend a "Time Share" breakfast and they tell you its only 90 minutes and promise to discount a couple excursions. PLEASE be aware because we were conned out of $40 dollars and the sales pressure is persistent. PEDRO is paid well to give you the sales pitch. I spoke to several people who attended and at the end they try and strong arm you into a sale ranging from $40,000 to $140,000 and don't accept NO to kindly. Outside of the initial scam the place is a true Gem. We did the sunset dinner cruise and it was fabulous!!

We came here for our honeymoon and had the most amazing experience. The most important thing for us was the food; we'd heard of people saying that resort food is not very good or they get tired of it after a while. This does not apply to Secrets.
The restaurants all are fantastic and offer such a wide selection on their menus. The water is clean and safe so no worries about that. I think above all else, the quality of the staff is what makes Secrets stand apart. You can tell that everyone is genuinely happy to be there which really impacts your experience.response / report this review -

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice quiet vacation and ended up with just the opposite. The 30 something crowd was obnoxious, loud, rude, oblivious to their surroundings, obsessed with themselves, they yelled and screamed and had no respect for others. Absolutely no place to relax in the quite cool shade only just noisy hot sun. The hotel and restaurants were just fine it was the loud people that spoiled the experience. Also you advertised as having a quiet pool the only thing we could not use it. If we had known that we would have stayed at another resort. The one thing I would rate as 5 star is the El Patio restaurant and waiter Jorge Lsela. Jorge was wonderful to us and he is a fantastic person. Our thanks to Jorge for the one excellent night we experienced at Secrets.

Great place to visit, beautiful views all around and great rooms. Would have given them full 5 stars if it was not for the sales people. So many people trying to sale you something, most would not take no for an answer. Your supposed to be enjoying your vacation or honeymoon but instead you are being bambarded by sales people whenever your in the airport and even when you arrive at the hotel.

We've stayed at a handful of all-inclusive across Mexico and started to think they were basically all the same. But from the instant we arrived at Secrets we were blown away. The grounds, the service, THE FOOD, the views, everything are all far and away better than the other resorts-- not even close. We were slightly Annoyed by the sales person trying to offer coupons for attending a breakfast that must be some sort of timeshare. After a long day of travel we just want to get to our rooms and relax without having to shoot down a barrage of sales pitches. Would do it again though. Plan on coming back as soon as possible.

The facility is nice, but needs repairs. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The outdoor dinning areas are rittled with flies, which as you can imagine, ruins not only you appetite, but also the experience. The Asian restaurant, is by far the best, especially the sushi. The location is fantastic, in regards to proximity to downtown Cabo, and the excursions. We got a room with a pool outside, the room itself was nice, with high end finishes. The pool is also nice but needs to be cleaned to a higher standard. Room service is excellent and always on time. House keeping did an excellent job returning the room each day. The mini bar could be "filled" more often, and with more product. The air conditioning in the room only works if all the doors are closed properly, which presents a problem since the sliding glass door will not close properly. I wouldn't mind this feature except when you consider the staff leaves the door open to every air conditioned public space. If the AC would just work all the time it wouldn't be a problem. The staff is very friendly, and willing to anything you ask. Over all, it was an okay experience.

We were here on our honeymoon and booked the preferred junior suite swim out room. Service is amazing, restaurants delicious, and love our swim out pool and jetted tub. The shower is also excellent with a shower head and rain shower above. Id recommend preferred club. The concierge is very helpful and you get quite a few perks.

Loved it. We had a great time and all the restaurants were excellent with the exception of the Seaside Grill. If I had to pick the best, Oceana would be it. It has the best Ocean view and on the night we went, the breeze was blowing in off the ocean as the sun set. Gorgeous! Everything on the menu was exquisite. Let's put it this way, even my wife enjoyed the soup which was a play on clam chowder and she despises seafood. Would absolutely go again.

The resort was great BUT while visiting the hotel we purchased the Unlimited Vacation Club Memberships. DO NOT let them talk you into purchasing one, you are best to stay clear. The sales people will feed you cocktails and tell you everything you want to hear. When you get home and try to use the UVC membership, everything that was told/sold to us was a whole lot different. This was a huge regret on our part and I hope this educates everyone to stay clear. I really don't like talking bad about anything or anyone but I wanted to educate everyone on what crooks the sales people are there. Enjoy your time at the resort and keep it at that.

Everything about this place is great. The resort is vast - we kept finding beautiful detail around every corner. Everyone we came in contact with is pleasant and accommodating. The resort activities are great, especially the art walk and bike tour. The entertainment crew is top notch! Shout out to Israel - he is nothing short of energetic, knowledgeable and respectful to our entire group and seemed to be involved in so many different activities - (when does that guy sleep?!?) Anthony is also tons of fun, thanks for the 'aqua gym' and bike tour! Thanks for making our 2017 girls trip so memorable!!💕👍

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort and we highly recommend it to our friends! Every staff member greeted us with a smile and were so pleasant throughout our stay. Upon arrival, the staff provided us with an upgrade for our honeymoon that was such a treat. We were so grateful for the experience and it quickly made us repeat consumers for Secrets locations for future vacations!
During our stay, we dined at each of the restaurants and enjoyed the variety of options we had to chose from each day. We also enjoyed a few couples massages at the spa that while pricey exceeded our expectations and left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Beautiful location, rooms are very nice with excellent amenities, plumbing problem in ours, but I'm sure that will be addressed. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One of our rooms was not ready on time and had some trouble getting the key, but no hiccups since then. Food and drink has been excellent, only complaint, there is a total absence of decent bourbon at the bars, but good selection of everything else, and the drinks and service have been top notch. The grounds and pools are absolutely beautiful, a swimming and sun bathing paradise. Overall, not perfect, but definitely recommended!

The resort is extremely nice. The people who work there are even nicer. Everyone met me with a smile. The on site Italian restaurant is top notch. We ate there two nights during our stay. The swing bar was an excellent place to sit and enjoy beverages and the excellent beach view. The near by areas are also great for getting out and exploring.

Beautiful location - but do not expect water sports (other than pool activities). Large, well appointed rooms, large balconies, spacious bathrooms. The food is excellent and the bars serve "top shelf" drinks when requested. Large sand beach but very steep entry to the ocean with strong undertow. A great experience.
