We stayed in a lot different all inclusive resorts but I think this one so far is our most favorite. We were a little worried that with 550 rooms everything will be packed but that wasn't a case. We didn't feel like it was big resort at all. Plenty of beach chairs, the best food selection, great entertainment and unbelievable friendly staff. We usually try to go to different places but after staying in this resort we are considering coming back next year.

Smoke, smoke, smoke!!!

That's how I would sum up our visit to this resort. As non-smokers, we were so tired of being inundated by cigarette smoke by the pool, on the sidewalks through the villas, in the hotel, in the restaurantsit was just all so unhealthy!

Other aspects were nice. While the room was a little dated, it was kept immaculately clean. The food in the restaurants was of good quality and the buffet was excellent.

We also found the frontline team members to be exceptionally friendly and proficient. The groundskeepers are top-notch. However, the front desk staff was consistently aloof and unhelpful.

Unless we hear of a change in the smoking policy, we will not be back to this resort.

We went last week with our daughter for Spring break. awesome experience, Danny the fitness instructor was incredible. Room was immaculate every day, service food A+. They couldn't do enough for you..beach very clean. Pools a little cool, don't think they r heated but we still enjoyed them! We ate in the main restaurant which was serve yourself and the food was 5*****! Delicious, ever night a different themegoing back next year! Oh and the ocean views are breathtakingdo not hesitate to book♥️

Very much enjoyed our 4 day stay! What really made the difference was the way it seemed every employee went out of their way 2 make the clients happy.
Beautiful location. Great weather.
Food and drinks were good. It is an all-inclusive resort, so you don't get perfect food or perfect drinks, BUT you never have to take your money out of your wallet! Except for tips (& the spa - not cheap).

Very nice, clean And gorgeous hotel. Staff are wonderful and helpful without heckling you for tips but do deserve for the amount of work they put in. Breakfast is amazing probably the best meal out of the day as the lunch and dinner are limited if you don't eat pork or are allergic to fish. But food is nice either way. Could do with some vanilla ice cream but I guess it's nice to experience different cultures tastes would of loved it if they did tho. All and all the beach is beautiful with loads of activities and a terrific pool along with a tennis/basketball court gym and spa I would definitely recommend you stay here as it is worth the money.

Let me tell you that the showa were amazing, the entertainment also plays a big part on the hotel, helping us being happy and getting drinks. The bars were nice, the food EXCELLENT, the room service were on time when we needed something. Highly recommended.

Went here in October. Not crowded. The checking process was quick. I booked a Ocean view villa and i got upgrade to a larger room. The food is amazing. The cocktails are ok. The staff is friendly. Did not visit the beach. But from my room it look nice. We had the pvt pool for the villa, it was not crowded. However the main pool had more people. Since we were a group of 8 we did not had issues with restaurant seating. I don't know if that the same in the summer. Overall i would recommend this hotel.

Little older looking than the pictures but still lovely. The higher your room the better furnishings. 600 upwards. Beautiful private beach and pools. Fantastic staff.

We absolutely loved the hotel. The room was nice and clean. The view from the balcony is amazing. The beach and pools are very nice. The food is good and the drinks are great. The bartender is very nice and attentive, Celestino. The only down thing is that the pools close at 7pm so you can't get in at night. Other than that we loved everything and plan to come back!

The drinks are not the best, but everything else was worth it. Clean rooms, all the employees smile at you and ask how you are doing. First hotel we went too and my husband, 2 year old and brother in law really enjoyed eveeything. The food was very delicious. Best experience we have had in a hotel so far. Will definitely be back ! 👍

The staff are very well-trained and friendly, I was impressed at the bilinguacy and response to requests. The view is beautiful, overlooking the ocean. The buffet, however, was sub-par. The food was confusing. Usually buffets have sections "dedicated" to certain types of food, like "Asian" or "Italian". I did not see any of that. The sushi had a sickly color and tasted fishy.

Beautiful!!! This is our second time staying here and everything is even better. Right from the moment you are graciously greeted by Alex at the front door, to getting your room quickly and friendly from Itsy at the front desk, to having your first perfect cocktail from Tino in the lobby bar this place is comfortable, clean, has great food and an amazing staff. There are many options for dining and you will have many hard working waiters, waitresses and captains taking great care of you like Juana and Fernando (2 of our groups favorites). And if you are outside in the pool area make sure to visit the best bartenders in Cancun including Taco, Bernardo and Jose.
i hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

The Palace Peninsula is wonderful. You get a great value for your money. Rooms are spacious and we'll appointed. If you have the chance get the jacuzzi suite in the main building. The food here is good..Not great but good. I say this without trying all the restaurants though, we have not been able to go to some because of the wait times. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to any looking to come to Cancun.

This is an all inclusive resort. Tipping was already included in the price so it was relaxing that the staff doesn't expect you to tip and still is so professional and nice to you. The rooms were clean. The nightly entertainment was entertaining, the private beach was relaxing. The only reason for the 4 stars is the food. I found the Mexican food they offered pretty bland, I was craving more spicy Mexican food since I was in the motherland. They did offer a variety of food which was good quality but it was the same everyday and bland for my liking.

I am writing on behalf of my mom and dad.
They went to the resort and did like:
food,
pools(except dirty pool with swim up bar),
rooms,
service(except front desk people were not as inviting as they would expect from all inclusive 5 star resort of this class).

but they absolutely dislike:
1. Rocky beach(need shoes to go in and around)
2. Very very limited and bad organized entertainment(very unusual for RIU).
Entertainment only lasted for about 30 min and after this it was completely nothing to do except go to the bar.
3. Not accommodating front desk staff.

I think the management should work on the issues because all items very important for the guests especially entertainment and more accommodating staff.
There needed to be kids shows, or shows that involves kids.
There should be longer shows each evening.
The management should definitely invite professional dancers and other entertainers and after each night show it should be dancing, movies(even on the beach),fires, some other kind of fun that the guests except from the hotel of this class.

If you want tropical with a palace feel. Great location and placement of hotel. Gave a grand view of the lagoon on one side. On the other side views from the room were amazing. Teal colored ocean water. Palm trees throughout, hammocks underneath some. From the balcony you could hear the waves landing on the shore. Feet in the extra fine sand was almost like in flour. Enjoyed it even at night. Pools, palm trees and walk ways were lit up. With a warm breeze and peaceful sounds of the waves. There were ships that had lights outlining the structure cruising the ocean. Also were shows in the evenings. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel had great breakfasts. Many types of good restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. Some rain during my stay added to the warm tropical get a away.
