Clean, but quite small rooms & bathrooms around a cute little courtyard. Quiet location (although the rooms towards the street can be noisy), but still very central. Manager rather grumpy and/or special sense of humor. May have also been the language barrier - only spanish spoken! But therefor locally owned & run. Breakfast was "only" fruits, cereal, yoghurt, coffee & juice; eggs are extra and quite pricey.

We had a great stay at the Mexican inn. Miguel and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great (fruit with yogurt and pastries), the palapa is a wonderful place to hang out in the shade. The rooms were very clean and nicely done. The a/c worked so well I had to get up and turn it down in the middle of the night. Very close to all the restaurants, bars and shops (less than a 5min walk). Its not a resort type place, it's located in the neighborhood next to real people who live in cabo, our neighbors were friendly as well. Don't be afraid to stay at a non-resort. Norman Diego's was exactly what I was hoping for on my stay in cabo. Maybe brush up on your Spanish before staying here, no English spoken, that being said, communication wasn't much of an issue. Norman Diego's The Mexican Inn is highly recommended by me.
