This place is such a scam. Ordered a mid size car and they refused to rent me one unless I bought their insurance. Took a compact which led to us being in a serious auto accident on the main highway. It just didn’t have enough power. Car did a 360 and turned over. Charged my credit card 7300$. Tried to get me to grease the cop or threatened me with jail time. Would not return my paperwork. Having trouble filing a claim without it. True scum.
Horrible, car wasn't ready, forced to take their insurance, wouldn't honor Expedia's insurance
They try to rip you off with 'Liability insurance'. By law this is included in the price. Be persistent and do not take this insurance. It would be double the price of our rental!
Also got smaller car than booked.
I have great experiences with Enterpise but this franchise are a bunch of criminals.
The cost of our rental was going to be $500 but after we got the car, an Enterprise rep said he could get us a voucher to reduce the cost of the car. This led to days of hell as we got involved in a scam and the rep was not hired by Enterprise at all. National and Enterprise in Cabo allow outside 'marketers' to use their premises to find 'quality leads'. In other words, Enterprise allows (and am sure gets paid a lot of money) for scam artists to dupe their own clients! And they aren't the only ones in Cabo so beware of anyone offering free anything if you just watch a short presentation!!!! They say they are selling timeshare-like membershipsbut it is a big scam!
Beware of hidden incidental charges when returning a car here!
I returned to the facility early and advised I needed to get gas because rental car places significantly up-charge for gas fill ups. I left the property and returned a second time with a full tank but was told I had to pay $25USD in extra gas because the full tank wasn't completely topped off. The manager Fernando told me I had shorted the tank 6 liters. When I asked to go look at the tank gauge to show him the gauge was in fact on full, the car had already been taken away and they refused to let me inspect the gauge. They charged me $8 more than agreed upon at checkout without my consent, which is not a lot of extra money here in the US, but it is the deceptive business practice at this facility that is causing me to write this review.
