The view was breathtaking, the beach was kept clean in front of the hotel. Bedsheets and bathroom seemed clean and the room service for tidying up did their best to be timely but they weren't thorough, but much appreciated nonetheless. The pools were kept clean as well. Getting beachside or poolside service was possible but not timely or efficient and not always easy to catch, seemed like they might have been understaffed in that respect, because it was either 1 or 2 gentlemen trying to get the orders from and to everyone in these places. Locks to the rooms aren't the most reliable, the anchor for the chain part of the lock just came out of the wall like it wasn't even screwed in. Also had a moment where we didn't hear the staff at the door and they just took initiative to open our locked door for the purpose of offering us some sweets, very disconcerting. Our room key had to be re-charged many times sometimes several times a day due to the fact that it stopped unlocking our door. Many outdated and dilapidated/rusted over looking outlets and fixtures. Cleanliness and thorough room service was not at the highest standard. The food offered at the restaurants at this resort was not very good and the drinks seemed watered down. The hotel is affordable though and it might be you get what you pay for but that's my honest observations and experience.

My husband and I stayed 7 nights at this resort during a spring trip in March.
Pros:
The beach on the property was incredible.
The décor and atmosphere around this place was simply lovely.
The staff at the front desk and in the restaurants were amazing. They went above and beyond any customer service I've ever had.
The restaurants served delicious and high quality food.
The house keepers kept our room immaculate.
Cons:
The noise level after 9pm would've been completely unacceptable if we would've been picky. Luckily, we are young and were exhausted at the end of most days, so we were able to sleep anyways.
Our shower only had hot water 4 of the 7 nights.
The ceiling in our bathroom leaked. It was right over the toilet, and only at night, so we weren't overly affected, which is why we decided it wasn't that big of a deal.
If you can look past some of the cosmetic damages around the resort, which are a telltale sign of it's age, then it's a wonderful destination for some relaxing beach time and amazing cuisine!response / report this review -

Very Friendly staff. Great music. Good food. Nice rooms. Great price. I loved the authentic feel of the resort. Definitely not a corporate feel. I also loved the tour guide rep Israel who hooked us up with night club entry tickets and water activities ;)

This place was awful.. the absolute worst food I've ever eaten. The menu makes it sound like they have a real chef, but that's a country crock!! Everything was cheap and made with margarine! Then we all got trapped in the elevator for about half an hour, the emergency phone wasn't wired to anything, no panic button, no fan or air of any kind, nobody came or heard us pounding on the walls. The girls were having full panic attacks. Finally our friend pried open the door and we all got out. The staff didn't apologize or anything. After much complaining they gave us a crappy bottle Brut champagne (at an all inclusive resort). Don't go here.

Amazing staff and beautiful service. The food was basic but well done. They didn’t have much variety in the food which is the only reason why I called it basic. Having unlimited drinks was a plus but their liquor option wasn’t too robust. The view was to die for. Just a gorgeous view of the beach. Definitely a good experience for the price we paid. Wished the hotel was a little more fancier but nonetheless awesome place 👏🏾

When we first arrived we were impressed by the places initial appearance but our experience instantly plummeted and spiralled into a very unpleasant experience. They promoted 24hr room service but at 1AM no chef was present and we had to walk to a convenience store for Ramen Noodles. The sushi is terrible, the walls in our room didnt have outlets. The shower doesnt have a door. The toilet has difficulty flushing. The walls are also incredibly thin. We paid for an all inclusive but by 11:45AM On check out day we were denied access to food despite having to walk for noodles the night before. The mixed drinks are pretty cheap leaving me with a headache. If you have to be here by force somehow make sure not to pay for any of the activities; They provide the same activities in the Cancun downtown area for a fraction of the cost.

This is the most disgusting resort ever. They have little food options and you're unable to get food after 10:30 pm and drinks after midnight despite advertising as all inclusive. They did not have washcloths and asked us to go and buy them from the store across the street. They advertise 24 hour room service but did not have it available. I walked to the nearest store in the middle of the night and ate cup of noodles soup on a resort I paid to have all inclusive food. The next day I asked to get food and they told me I was unable to eat even though check I requested a late check out at 1pm. I went to order a burger at 11:45 and was told they could not accommodate me. The sushi was horrible and made us sick and the gift shop was closed when I wanted to purchase souvenirs. DO NOT COME HERE! YOU WILL BE UNHAPPY!

The location is great, the view is really nice, the rooms are pretty, the service is good. It's very relaxing since kids are not allowed.

We had a suite in all inclusive so obviously I enjoyed being in this hotel. But with an objective point of view this hotel is clearly dated. The jacuzzi is the best example, the buttons to control the cold and warm have been switched and it just looked old (they're doing a big renovation of the hotel). But anyway the most important things are the view and the beach and both are beautiful!

Dirty, run down and had a horrible selection of food options. Zero vegetarian and not even willing to prepare food with the omission of meat. Always after you for tips but horrible service and would not accept their own currency because it had a small tear in it. In Canada you can tape a bill back together and the bank still accepts it. Ridiculous. I will never go back to the horrible hotel and advise everyone else to stay clear of it. I also got a horrible case of food poisoning and only ate at the hotel so it had to be from their awful cleaning standards.

This Hotel is making a big effort trying to accommodate people's needs and very accurate about it. All the previous reviews are true except for the fact that you will definitely enjoy this Hotel as much as I did. I was here February 4-8 2017 with friends. Some of the remodeling have been completed, so give them a chance and enjoy your stay.

This place is old and run down! Don't waste your time and money here! I don't know why some people give them 5 stars, it has to be a joke! Uploaded some pictures of the hotel good, and bad ones of how run down this place is. For some weird reason they only approved the nice ones and not the ones of the disgusting shower fixtures and the elevators how they are crumbling apart from beneath your feet. Do not go by the good pictures posted on here! If people post 5 star reviews for this place, they must not know what a 5 star vacation is!

I loved this hotel! And I enjoyed my stay here. Pool is amazing!! With a great view, as the beach is right across from the pool. Very nice place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone :)
