I wish I read the reviews on TripAdvisor before my stay
Now I'm missing a couple of hundreds dollars.
What can I say - looks like it's safer to stay in a hostel than a 5-star hotel like this one.

They stole our money from the hotel safe!

Remember - almost all the safes in hotels CAN be opened any time by the staff using the master codes. Don't leave your valuables there!

What is even worse, they lied for a couple of days after that they will 'solve' this problem. Of course they never did and did not take responsibility.

Vacation is not the time for nerves and dealing with incompetent and lying staff - I hope you will not have to go through what we did.

There are many other, better hotels on La Quinta Avenida and I advice you to choose a different one for your trip.

PROS: the attitude of the service is great, the bed is very comfortable, and it's a nice place to hang out with friends. Also, the location worked great for us, there are so many things like restaurants, clubs and stores near to the hotel, you can just go walking to any place. CONS: There was no water two nights in a row, and it took so many time to have water again. The TV had been working well for a few days, but the day of the superbowl, suddenly it just didn't work at all, you couldn't see any channel, we tried in three rooms and all were the same.

Pros: great location on bustling 5th avenue, inclusive breakfast downstairs was amazing, clean rooms and hotel, L'Occitane products which was a plus, huge TV, room came with a Jacuzzi, roof top infinity pool!
Cons: the Jacuzzi was next to the bed haha other wise no complaints..we loved it there!

Excellent location, the rooms are comfy and come with a HUGE tv, nice amenities and clean bathrooms. The breakfast included is delicious. The only down site about this hotel is that our view was to a wall and it made me feel a little claustrophobic, also they don't know when your breakfast is included or not, so make sure if you booked your room with breakfast included and have them confirm it.

It is a nice smaller hotel. It has a nice pool and juguzzi in the roof. It has daily rooms service /cleaning. It is also in a good area. It is not a resort (spa and place on the beach) but it is on the main street. I would stay here again.

We visited the pool at the hotel roof. The entire experience was very pleasant, but the pool wasn't heated. There was also no shade on the roof for the pool chairs.

1st of all, the hotel is located in the best place at 5th avenue. Besides the great location, the room is very spacious, clean, and great amenities. There is even a balcony with a jacuzzi. Bathroom is amazing too, the have hair dryer and high quality shampoo, conditioner etc. All hotel employees were helpful and were always smiling! I highly recommend!!!

Literally the most BEAUTIFUL we have ever visited. We visited back in November 2016 where my fiance proposed to me. Hotel staff was so sweet and helpful. The food AMAZING. I cant wait to visit again on our anniversary :)

Good service, they upgraded our room when we told them it was our honeymoon. The complimentary breakfast had three courses and was more than I had expected.

It was very hard to find. The reservation we had called the hotel "Sense Hotel by Artisan" so we asked taxi drivers for the "Senses Hotel" and no one had any idea what we were talking about. Took us an hour to find it because the main Avenue there doesn't have any numbers visible and so the address provided wasn't very helpful without GPS (no data on our phones). Also the hotel front is so narrow and integrated into the surrounding shops that we walked right past it without noticing it. Ask for Hotel Artisan and then locals can help you out. Would have saved us an hour of walking around and waiting around as our taxi driver called all his friends trying to track down "Senses."
