The hotel feels kind of old, but it's still nice. The rooms were clean and the beach is sandy with minimal rocks. The staff is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. One super disappointing thing for us was that the pool closes at 8pm. The food is okay, but not great during the day. If you reserve a table for dinner instead of doing the buffet the food and service is much better.

Unforgettable vacation! Have always loved this resort! Have been going here since 1997 and wasnt back for 17 years! When I found out there were direct flights out of Milwaukee had my travel agent book it! My friend Beth and I were here for a week and loved it! The food, service and drinks were great! All the employees at the resort are so friendly! The entertainment crew phenomenal! There was a different show every night and we were up til 1:00 am! Lots of dancing, walking on the beach, snorkeling, walked along golf course, rode horses through the jungle and on the beach! The horses brought me back me to this resort! It has a piece of my heart! I will be back! Not crowded like the other resorts and at the north end of the island. A piece of Heaven!

So far, the resort has been great! There are only about 150 rooms, so it's not too packed and we've never had to wait in line. Exceptionally pleasant staff, great food, and an awesome entertainment crew as well! The food has been good no matter if you're at the snack bar, buffet, or the a la cartes. All of the rooms are just steps away from from a long, beautiful, white sand beach. There are a bunch of iguanas here and it's fun seeing them hanging around the resort.

Excellent customer service! The staff and locals are extremely friendly. The beach is great. The food was flavorful. The pool was to cold for me but I am a beach and ocean girl anyway. Roberto the waiter was awesome!

Just returned to St. Louis after spending a week at Melia Cozumel & it was WONDERFUL!!! Shout out to the Entertainment/Activities Staff - Mary, Nolberto, Otoniel & Carlos! Very hospitable & pushed me out of my comfort zone from step aerobics to stretching/yoga classes on the beach offered each day. Thanks to all for an awesome, fun experience!

Service from All personal esa excellent. Good and beverages were well served and tasty! The only bad thing is because of los season a few areas and restaurant were closed due reparation, but understandable. Pretty sure is great when is all operational.

My wife booked a surprise trip for my 50th birthday and we couldn't have been happier. Great quiet location, great food, and unbeatable service. Gabriel and crew were a pleasure and tended to our every want and need. We will return. 5 stars.

Beautiful clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, beach location great not very many waves and short walking distant of other local beach stops. The entertainment is okey, could improve more exciting for children.

Fantastic customer service, great food, and what else can you say about being in paradise?! If you want to relax and take it easy, this is the place to be. You aren't bombarded with sales or tours or time shares - I love it! I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay has been :)

We went to the Melia for our honeymoon and had the best time ever! The food was excellent and the view to die for. The staff was beyond wonderful, among our favorites was Cynthia, Felipe, Diego, and Alberto!!!!

It was a great experience our rooms were always clean. The staff went out of their way to help us. The view was amazing, the sand was the finest I have ever seen. I would go back again in a flash.

I am so glad I chose Melia as my place to stay in Cozumel, Mexico. It was the best choice ever! Every person who works in the resort always has a smile on their face & acknowledge your presence every time you pass them. The upkeep of the resort is marvelous and we never saw any trash just laying around. We could tell very easily all employees of the resort take a personal pride in their job and the results showed in each corner of the place. The food is superbly excellent and the taste is unbeatable. The options available for non-alcoholic beverages was amazing. I did not even feel for one second there were any comments I could make to improve any aspect of our stay. From the employees, to the food, drinks & overall location our stay was marvelous. We felt sad to come back home & can't wait to go back again to Melia.
