We had the most wonderful stay at Veranda Paul et Virginie. The views are breathtaking and the infinity pool is very special.
Although it's a small resort, there are still two pools and a beach to choose from but never a lack of sunbeds. We loved the intimate atmosphere, you got to know most guests by face and the staff too.
This isn't your typical all inclusive resort - the food is different each night and clearly very thought through and well prepared, it never got boring. There would also always be different entertainment on offer each night.
I only have one small area of improvement. We loved the staff, they worked very hard but there was a lack of urgency on occasion. Sometimes we wouldn't get a drink we'd ordered, or we'd get it 20 minutes after ordering it or our glass would be empty for a while before anyone took a new order.
Other than that, I couldn't fault a thing.

Stayed here for seven (7) nights with Half Board accommodation.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good food and enjoyable facilities.

The beach is quite small but with a beatiful sand bed. The pool area is extremely cozy and beautiful.

Breakfast buffet has lots of options and the dinner buffet is every day with different theme.

My wife and I were honeymooners at this resort in February 2018. The recently completed refurb has had a very positive impact on the resort, with the decor and cleanliness impeccable. We did feel that the food was substandard and although the staff are very friendly, the service was often slow. The beach at the resort was also a let down.

Quaint and cozy resort, with a fantastic spa. A special mention for the entire staff, who are very warm, helpful and always greet you with a smile. The only qualm that I had was there weren't enough vegetarian food options.

Had a the best holiday ever here. Mauritius is a wonderful island and this is a great place to chose to stay. Rooms are amazing, private beach and the infinity pool is excellent. Amazing choice of food from two restaurants, pancakes in the afternoon and they offer the best breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the bar makes great cocktails. As part of our stay we had a catamaran trip which was a lot of fun. There is also a small spa here which is worth a visit. Little hint if you have a late flight like us, rather then book late check out book the shower room, it's pretty much a full room, it's free of charge and is more than enough to freshen up. They will bring your suitcases in to allow you to repack if need.

If you are looking for adult only all inclusive luxury. This is for you. The staff are wonderful and the manager is always there if you need her. Nothing is too much trouble. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely place for a holiday or honeymoon, we got married here, very friendly staff, romantic setting, rooms a very good standard and the food was great, service can be a bit slow but who cares, very relaxing and excellent evening entertainment.

Dissappointed.
Several issues with room and food and hotel overall.
Was ill after meals 4 times during our 2 week stay.
Unimpressed with restaurant staff and some of the cheekiness on reception.

Lovely location though and bar staff and maids were lovely.
Hotel added unnecessary stress to our honeymoon.

Good luck with the refurb! It's needed!

3 star hotel with 4 star service and amazing wedding coordinator! Loved it . adults only resort which sets it apart. Nice spa. Would be nice to have a gym as well.

Having a brilliant time here. Hotel is well priced, I recommend taking all inclusive that's for sure, it's very expensive if you don't! Even the town is very expensive but beyond worth it, we will definitely come here again. The hotel manager, Jennifer I think her name is, was very friendly and speaks to all the guests to make sure everything is going well. Staff are very friendly, food is amazing, views are fantastic, water is perfect, and a must do is the catamaran tour with the hotel, we are doing it tomorrow but spoke to a lot of people here and they all loved it.
Oh and the tuna here. They cook it in a garlic butter type sauce and it is the best I have ever had, by a long long way.
Will definitely return here again, lots of people from south Africa seem to come here, we are one of the 6 or 7 SA couples here this week.
