A five star experience, the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. All made us feel welcomed. The pools, views and food are exceptional, with local dishes given a gastranomic twist if you wish to enjoy a more seasoned fare. With double the number of sun beds to guest available there was never an issue finding a quite spot to relax, indeed with the love nests around the cove being popular you can often have the beach to yourselves.

We have been staying here now for 10 days and are getting ready to leave, so sad. Everyone has been so kind and friendly and have gone out of their way to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I don't think I have seen staff members work so hard. Thank you Paradise Cove, hope to see you again soon xx

A wonderful hotel, friendly welcoming staff, great quality amenities. The food was excellent and the bars well stocked. The rooms are well furnished with Handy Phones to provide a lifeline when away from the hotel WiFi. The setting is gorgeous, I can't wait to come back!

Great all round except basic rooms are basic and need a make over, they are also quite small. The grounds staff do an amazing job and the hotel looks beautiful. The water sports are great and we loved the infinity pools and floating jetty. The live music and entertainment is also excellent and they are very skilled. I agree with other reviews that food is nice but it is a bit hit or miss. A couple of times our order was taken down incorrectly. We also had an issue with taxis. The hotel rates was very high. Locally we were quoted 800R for a trip to Port Lois. The hotel tried to charge us R2,800 return which is steep even to people from London!!

Overall we have enjoyed our stay but a bit more attention to detail in the double rooms and with the food would make this hotel next level.

Paradise Cove is just Paradise! From the decor to the beautiful gardens and picturesque views of the ocean it has truly met all expectations and exceeded them. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and the service is 5 stars. The only thing that cod do with minor exceeding is the level of cuisine. The food in our opinion doesn't match the level the hotel aims for. It is repeated throughout the hotel on several menus and could be raised in terms of selection and quality of produce. In by no means is it bad or not appealing but rather in need of a more experts touch. It is a wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a slice of luxury and romance. The spa is also a huge asset as the treatments and ladies who do them are exceptional.

The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, especially the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. All of the staff are extremely friendly and will do everything they can to make your stay as nice as possible.
We were there for 5 nights at the end of our honeymoon and it was the perfect end to our stay in Mauritius.
It is a smaller, more personal and relaxed hotel than some of the other hotels on the island, but if you are after a slower pace of life then this is the place for you.
The catamaran trip that they run from the hotel was a highlight of our stay on the island, especially the snorkeling part of the day, the best I have ever seen.
I think the hotel would benefit from a bit of a spruce up in some areas, and it did feel a bit understaffed at meal times. The A La Carte restaurants were booked up quickly so book on arrival or before if you can.

The lady is right the rooms are dated but.. I spent my time on the beach, in the infinity pool. the bigger pool and restaurants so it balanced out on the room size but a hotel of that stature needs to be boasting fancy new rooms

The resort itself is beautiful, very private and secluded, however the rooms are small and very dated , certainly not 5 star , and the food is very hit and miss, again not 5 star.
For the money this place is charging I would have to say it is not value for money ,
The entertainment at night is poor and definitely aimed at the more mature audience rather than honeymooners who seemed all in their 30's, it pretty much closes down at 11pm, so if coming here for a mix of night life, choose somewhere else. If happy to be in bed by 11 then it may suit.

My husband and I finished our honeymoon with 4 nights at this resort. It was the perfect end to a perfect honeymoon.
Obviously this hotel is targeted very much towards couples whether it be honeymoon celebrations or 50th wedding anniversary's. For this reason, the romantic aspect is turned up a few notches, with candlelit dinners, couples massages offered in the day spa and little private sun beds all over the grounds.
A concern I had before staying at Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel was that it wasn't located on a beach but a manmade cove (those beaches that stretch for miles with white sands and turquoise waters). I can tell you after staying here that that didn't matter one bit, and after visiting some of the beaches during our stay, I wasn't too fussed about not having one nearby. Everything about this resort is just beautiful. The tranquility of infinity pool overlooking the ocean will put you in holiday mode from the moment you arrive.
I would recommend booking the Catamaran day trip from the hotel (which operates every Friday) to the three northern islands. Here you will see that postcard image that every associates with Mauritius, white sand, blue sky's, crystal clear waters. Do make sure you don't get seasick however as this was quite a bumpy ride.
If you are travelling to this hotel, I would recommend the premium all inclusive package as food/drinks etc are quite expensive once you're there. It's nice knowing that you've prepaid for your stay and don't have to lift a finger once you're there.
The only thing that could do with a little bit of work is the food and restaurant service (I would say this is more 3.5-4 star than 5, and they did seem quite understaffed on Saturday night for our candlelit dinner. Having some understanding of F+B, it is not ideal to have guests seated so far from the kitchen but the concept is lovely). This is my only criticism of the hotel.
As I said, the perfect paradise and end to an incredibly special honeymoon!!

Well what can I say, I took my wife, N, and I for our honeymoon and am so glad we chose PCBH! It was lovely, we were treated so well, looked after like family. catered for because we are vegetarian. The entire team including Ashok, Prakash, Sangeeta, Michael, Rajesh, Chand, Deepak Sandhiya and the whole team were just fab. The room was lovely and well a/c'd. The facilities were brilliant, the cove beach was peaceful, the infinity pools were clean and looked after. Fresh towels daily. Room service was prompt and the bar staff brilliant. If you're looking for somewhere to say which is peaceful, restful and charming, quaint and where you're well looked after. Paradise Cove Boutique hotel is the place to go!

Wonderful boutique hotel, excellent amenities and lovely rooms and simply stunning views. The only down side is food can be very hit and miss at the restaurants especially if you are travelling with a vegetarian/person with special dietary requirements and the drinks at the bar are ridiculously expensive!

Spent a week here on honeymoon in mid July and we had a really great time. Before we arrived, I was a little apprehensive at the thought of spending the entire week on site (we don't usually go on all-inclusive holidays) but I had nothing to worry about. The hotel grounds are lovely and there are plenty of things to do. There are several different restaurants and we tried all of them out during the week. I really enjoyed lunch at the Indigo restaurant. Apart from the view being breathtaking, the food was very good. Not sure how authentic the local cooking was as I've never tried Mauritian food before. I would have preferred if it had been more spicy, but understand that not everyone likes that.

In terms of entertainment, every night there was a live band playing and one night we had a traditional dance troupe perform. The highlight for me was the star-gazing evening, where a local astronomer explained the visible constellations, It was a really nice and imaginative touch for the hotel to put on a night like this for guests and I've not seen anything like it elsewhere. We learned a lot!

The only negative thing I can comment on is the disappointing quality of the house wines included in the all inclusive package. While we weren't expecting anything spectacular, in our opinion, most of them were barely drinkable. We quickly figured out that the one passable wine was the Le Petit Vigneron Rose and we drank that with every meal. The sparkling wines are very, very sweet, so nothing like a champagne. They are good to pair with dessert but not a great match for most savoury dishes. However, this issue is the same all over the island - we did stay elsewhere during the holiday and we ate and drank in quite a few other places. The wine was mostly bad everywhere unless you were prepared to pay 3-4x what you'd pay in a restaurant in Europe for the same bottle. So I can only assume import taxes are very high.

Other than that, everything was great and the level of service from all the staff was excellent. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

This is a 5 star beauty. Positives and positives nothing else as name depict. Mr. Michael in the bar and Mr. Dipak in kitchen are two excellent buddies, who will make your stay unforgettable. They have 3 restaurants including Indigo, the special one. Breakfast is buffet but lunch and dinner were all a la carte which made it special. They have swimming pool, pick up and drop, Business Centre, Spa and all other modern facilities. The hotel is situated at a remote location and you must take a cab (costly to some extent) to reach nearest town. Overall an awesome experience. Strongly recommend for family stay.

Beautiful place and the staff is excellent. Would have been 5 stars if it was not for the Spa which is a bit of a let down. Also it was sad that we arrived on Friday and was told that the 2 restaurants that we have to book for is already booked and on Sunday they are closed
