run down in 2017 needs refurbishment.. hippy like hotel.. good for jazz and music. The Food which is always a buffer is not worth paying for, frankly.

I often come here for diving. Never actually stayed here. But a great place to come to in case you are interested in water activities like surfing, diving, snorkelling etc. My experience with them has been amazing and I love the various locations I have been taken to for diving. In fact I have completed my first level of PADI certification and will soon start the second level. They have all the equipment you would need, even for diving, but experienced divers can always bring their own equipment.

Overall nice and way too simple place . But food is not so good. And also not worth the price. Need much renovation and improve quality of food. However staffs are nice n the pool also was good.

Its a simple hotel that provides basic amenities ,the food is also fine every day it keeps changing they usually theme the dinner it is some times Chinese other days it will be Indian and some days continental breakfast remains the same ,the staff is very helpful ,there is a beach just opposite to the hotel.
The rooms are spacious and neat and clean .
If you have high expectations for this hotel please don't book it's an average hotel but not a disappointing one also you will have a pleasant stay.
Too far from the airport takes more than an hour to reach.
There are three food outlets near the hotel two of them pizza outlets and one a normal cafeteria but please be advised they close after 3 pm so plan your lunch accordingly.
There are two local grocery stores also available which cater to all your basic necessities from food to hard/soft drinks.
The hotel also offers europecar car rental services.they also have option for taking the guest to adventure sports and water sports so don't worry of you have not booked it before hand.

Loved it ! Very spacious rooms, right on the beach, delicious food, surrounded by garden, very polite and helpful staff and excellent food prepared by chef as per your liking & taste . Perhaps the only hotel in Mauritius which plays live band in the evening! Last but not the least about the manager Mr Ajay, who was very helpful and always at your service ! I would definitely like to visit Tamarin again.

Too old hotel. Room have old furniture and not attractive at all. No good atmosphere inside the room and even in the yard. Food was good though it took more than 45 mins to arrive.

Staff is cooperative,polite and humble. Food is good. But Pork and Wine are available under the same roof along with other food items.Neat and clean.Free WiFi,Swimming pool,Library. But no room service. Just cross the road and you will find a beautiful beach in front of you.
