  Stunning hotel nestled in the mountains around chamarel and Black River. The lodge itself is a short drive from the main road, but once you enter the grounds it feels like you have been transported to a different universe, isolated completely from the rest of the world. Hands down the most peaceful and serene place I have ever stayed.
  
  If you can afford it, I recommend one of the pool suites. Ideally the sea view suite if it is available (usually requires luck and advanced notice). We stayed in a garden pool suite. Absolute privacy, a beautiful environment (pool is private and surrounded by the lush folliage of the mountain).
  
  The food is delicious (proper dinner service in particular) and there is a nice terrace with a spectacular view of the ocean and Le Morne.

  Amazing staff, impeccable service. Really recommend it. My only complaint was that the room is a little dark and the wifi poor - but the latter led to a much needed digital detox!

  This is a nice place to be. The lodges are very comfortable, the food is excellent and the staff is just so caring. Calm and quiet place where you can relax and refill your positive energy.

  Lovely lodge by the lake. Private pool, outdoor shower. Nice hikes up the hillside. . Food first class. Bit pretentious not to allow shorts at dinner
