These magnificent historical temples were constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries, in the prosperous Kingdom of Bagan.
You can see the Bagan beautiful sunrise and sunset from this buddha temple.
This is ancient bagan pagoda . This pagoda has one of the Swal Daw Lay Su means that is u go and pray four pagoda within one day , the wish u make will be fullfilled . You can go there by riding boat across Irrawaddy river from Bu Pagoda or Law Ka Nanda pagoda .
One of the most famous Pagodas in Bagan-Nyaung Oo, Myanmar(Burma). Situated on the west bank of Irrawaddy river . From the Pagoda, can see beautiful and amazing view of Great Irrawaddy River and wonderful scenery of Bagan.
Wonderful places
One of the pagodas that hold Buddha's relics in Bagan. The pagoda is on top of the mountain so the visitors have to take the ferry across the Ayeyarwaddy River and again ride cars to get to the mountain top. The road to pagoda is not finished and is very dusty. If you are to take light trucks, wear masks and extra clothes on top of your regular ones as they will turn yellow (or white by dirt) by the time you get there.
Visited here on the one cloudy day of the season so no views out over the river to Bagan. Didn't really matter too much as this is a fascinating pagoda to visit, even in the rain. Don't miss the pointing Buda half way up the stairway as this position is very rare. Once at the Stupa it was very busy with local worshipers, even in the rain. Once here the white elephant is popular, also quite rare, so don't miss it.
One of famous pagoda in Bagan . But you want to visit there you need to ride a boat to reach there because it's located in another side of Bagan.
Try by car :) one and half hour drive. Will see the other side of Irrawaddy, lovely road.. arrive without dealing with boat and truck.

famous Pagoda
Great place but costly to get to. Some boat drivers quote K15000 straight off, others show a card with K20000 on it but drop the price instantly. You can probably get lower in wet season, when they're desperate. When you get to the other side in wet season, however, the taxi drivers know you're desperate and won't budge from K20000. If you talk about walking up, they laugh as they know there's so much mud you won't go through with it (looks like a hard slog in the dry, too). So you get a fun mud bash up to a gilded pagoda with incredible views over Bagan, the river and the mountains. Worth going, just remember it could cost as much as a trip to Mt Popa.
