Brickwork, glazed and the mural from 13th to 19th century can be seen. A must go pagoda when you visit Bagan.

Wonderful wall paintings. Pity that the govt is not putting much effort in preserving them.

Sulamani Temple built in 1183, though it went thru damaged twice during earthquake in 1975 & 2016, it still stands beautifully with a lot of wall paintings in its interior believed to be drawn on in the 18th century. Also there is one part of the wall where the paintings clearly from an later period and different artistsmall and detailed.. I find it has lots of Chinese influence. This is a must go temple if you want to see something different like the wall paintings. You can see lots of Buddha painting, sitting and sleeping. Also lots of paintings of people offering flowers to the Buddha. There are also paintings of Buddha sitting and surrounded by snakes.

the place you must to visit in your life
I come here for 3 days, I experienced the greatest feeling in my life- you will feel like in the ancient movie, you can see the most beautiful sunrise and sunset on the temple. must rent the electric bike, so you can go everywhere and explore, must buy some wood stuff from local, really beautiful and memorable, I will come back in the future. 你可以騎著電動腳踏車在這個像是一千年以前才有的城市閒晃,你會覺得自己彷彿穿越了時空,真的是太美了。

One of the top destinations in Bagan. Below photo was taken before the 2016 earthquake which damaged the top site of the pagoda.

The tall elegant late Bagan temple with wall paintings from 3 eras, Bagan, Konbaung and post Konbaung. Sadly, it was severely damaged in 2016 earthquake.

Most of the temples in the area are the same, but this is definitely the one to go see. It'a massive, but does get a bit crowded.

Stunning temple ! Unfortunately due to preservation reason, you won't be able to climb very high. In fact, there's only one window available to climb. Still, it's super worth it !

As of June 2016, no way to climb higher than a few stairs to look out a window found. Sign saying going higher is not allowed for preservation reasons. Nice paintings inside. Worth a visit. Tranquil.
