+The staff couldn't do enough for you. Beautiful big clean rooms. It is an bit out of the city centre but it is close to the tourist attractions. And there are always taxis of the hotel standing ready.
Breakfast was good, definitely with the beautiful view over the pagoda.

- After a long day we thought, lets take an vegetarian burger at the restaurant in the hotel. It was cheap, but was jus an bun with some salat and mayonaise, together 8 chips (max 2 inches long). What was more funny then upsetting

Great hotel given the price point, with easy access to the main tourist sites around town. On site restaurant has a good menu (and prices) as well as friendly staff throughout the whole hotel.

Great location, great rate, comfortable rooms. I stayed here in 2011 and 2016. Not much has changed. It is within walking distance to Shwedagon Pagoda, the zoo, and even the city center (if you really like to walk). Otherwise, downtown is only a cheap taxi ride away. It is not the newest or most modern, but it definitely serves its purpose well and the price is fair.

At the door it says 2 stars, but online places rate it as three. I think it deserves the three. Very large spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast is very nice, more cultural than continental so be prepared to try something new. Staff are so friendly, I mean, I can't begin to tell you how friendly the staff are.
