Its difficult to get a feeling of whether the staff are friendly or not. During check in the receptionist was very rude by saying he didn't have time to wait as I was searching my passport for the tourist entry visa. But during the rest of the stay he seemed to bring on a air of friendliness (or was it sarcasm) as we left or returned after walking around the town. Other than this I think the rooms are adequate for a cheap stay in casablanca by I wouldn't stay more than one or two nights. We had a good room on the top floor with a view over the port area and square. Room 322 seems to be one of the best. We had a sneaky peak into some of the other rooms and noted that some didn't have windows. Breakfast wasn't included for us although it says so in the Google maps information panel. It's only an extra couple of euros for breakfast and it is very good.

It was a terrible experience on the first day I arrived in Morocco. Before I started my journey, I reserved and paid for 3 night. But there is no my room. And he say "you are late. So we have no room. Full book".
I had already called to say that I would be late checking in 1p.m.
He led me to another hotel, but I didn't think the new hotel was safe. I couldn't judge the hotel as a hotel for travelers or business people, looking at the people in the lobby. And he gave me refund on my 3 days stay when it was past midnight.
He said "sorry", but It happened 40 minutes ago. It is terrible night.

Centrally located, easy access to main landmarks. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is ok. Rooms need attention though. All in all is a good place if you are looking for no frills accommodation.

Would not recommend staying here. The rooms are small and not well maintained. Our bed was sagged on one side, the faucet in the bathroom was leaking and was extremely close to the toilet also the shower head was broken and the windows couldn’t be closed properly. Next to that the walls were so thin that we’d hear everything from the rooms around us and from the hallway/staircase and therefor couldn’t sleep or woke up really early due to other people walking by or showering in the room above. The breakfast was okay, but the dining room was obviously not cleaned in a long while. The hotel does have a good location on walking distance from the old medina.

It is a budget hotel and you get what you expect. It is small, basic but clean. The breakfast was great though.

Great stay, would definitely stay again. No towels or toilet paper provided so plan for those things. Also, no fans in the rooms so nights can be very hot. However, the place was very clean, centrally located, awesome rooftop!

Charming old colonial feel to the place. Big, light rooms with balconies overlooking a small square. Fairly basic but adequate facilities. Local people very friendly and welcoming. Generous breakfast.

Really simple hotel. No a/c or heating, bad bed and cockroaches. Only good thing was a helpful older gentleman in the reception.

Despite the bad reviews the room and bed linen are clean and the bathroom as well. Because of the moisture the bathroom door clamps, so use your weight to close it. Breakfast is simple but okey. Three starts because the receptionist was in every single way not polite and friendly

Quite good location near train station and medina, but I´m not sure to stay outside hotel at late night. Average breakfast.
View to dirty and stinky wall, if you let window open pigeons can fly in to room. Also usual cleaning in bathroom should be better. Cold during the night in November.

A historic style hotel with center location for a low budget stay with free breakfast in Ancient Medina. Beautiful stair and no lift. So choose the lower floor for senior guest.
