Staff at the reception not really friendly and helpful. They gave me the key to a room that was not cleaned. The hotel rooms need renovation.

My experience staying 1 night at the hotel is reflected with the rating. Since we had a morning flight into town we showed up at the hotel at 11 am and we're told there is no way of checking in till noon, no problem with the wait time we went to have ther overpriced breakfast buffet with barely a few items left. Showed up back at noon and had to wait another half hour since the cleaners were not done with making out room, but the hotel was on the money to collect there resort fee and the taxes owed on my pre booked hotel cost not thinking about customer service.

The rooms were outdated and to top our our stay neither of the A/C worked in the 2 rooms we had booked and it was scorching hot. Called the front desk on 2 occasion reg. The A/C but no one showed up to fix the issue after false promises.

The beds were not comfy and the blow dryer didn't work in the washroom either. Since we were on my there for one night we toughed it out without cashing a big fuss. Upon check out I was told that one of the 2 rooms had not been paid for since I had pre booked the hotel rooms prior to my arrival on a 3rd party website. The manager came over and advised me to pay for the 2nd room not thinking for a second to contact the 3rd party company to confirm as to why they did pay while I showed the payment proof to the manager in my hand. Another thing was they constantly talked in Arabic of French, Atleast they should've had the consideration to speak in English so I would know what they are talking about.

Overall not pleased with the service nor quality and would not be staying at there chains of hotels in the future.

Staying at "Farah Magreb Hotel" Casablanca, Morocco (a 5-star hotel).
Bad service. They don't even provide "kettle water boiler" to boil water in case you want to eat some instant noodles and/or serve coffee or tea.
I can only order hot water from the room service Internet speed also sucks! Very very very disappointed. I think they need to learn from other International hotels such as Holiday Inn Tangier, where I stayed a few months ago (a lot better services). In summary, this Farah Casablanca is NOT recommended at all.

Its too noisy, u will hear cars beeping all day and all night long. I was on the 11th floor and asked to change my room. The housekeeping just started opening my door, without even knocking before, without saying anything, and I was naked. When I told her why she doesnt knock, she was saying something in French. My colleage called room service and they just hanged up the phone. Just dont stay here.

Hotel looks nice, convenient near the old Medina. But Empty restaurants, empty swimming pool, looks nice but does not invite to swim in it, breakfast bad quality. Wifi in some rooms totally gone. Sometimes you are lucky. Minibar in the rooms is empty. Bottle of water via roomservice is 50 MAD.

Had an overall an enjoyable stay at this hotel and spent about five nights. Located close to the Casablanca port, train station and city center. I spent most of my time inside the hotel from breakfast, lunch and dinner as my program was organized indoor. The free wifi is acceptable though sometimes the signal was so weak. The breakfast was OK though not many food options to choose from and sometimes the coffee machines had some problem. The bedroom and bathroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room attendant really did a good job every day. Was a bit surprised in the beginning as my room has no heater but even in winter the temperature in my room was OK.
