Perfect location. Center and calm same time. Ordinary breakfast. Delicious pancakes. -1 star for parking.

Great hotel on the edge of Old Town in an ideal location. Lovely hotel with a very good breakfast. Only negative, the noisy heater system which kept me up the first night, apart from that cannot fault the place or Riga. Was a great break.

Good food and plenty of it. Very clean, high standards in the hotel. Can't do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. Will put on my list to visit again. Also the hotel is central for getting about the capital Riga. Excellent hotel.

Communication could have been better. We booked at 4X board rate for New year's eve but were changed to a smaller room after the first day. On the morning after, breakfast was changed to 8am instead of 7am without prior notice, and we had to catch the bus to the next destination. No cold food was possible when requested at the reception. This is shabby, keep going like this and you are not getting your Trip Advisor rating back since 2013.

Great location, nice clean room, good breakfast and has sparkling wine. Only downfall was the bathroom was a bit smelly in an old room feel.

Very centrally located hotel and one of the few in Riga having balconies in some rooms. Shane that a new building is growing just in front, so the beautiful river views are now gone! Nice Latvian breakfast!

The hotel has a new building. The new building has extremely tiny rooms but with nice shower and new facilities and the old building has larger rooms with tiny shower the breakfast is nice with a variety of meet, eggs, crepes, vegetables and cereals

Great location, walking distance to everything! Museums, scenic view, food halls, easy to take bus br 22 from airport (novembra kastala is the stop), rich breakfast but not too much, nice staff, and clean rooms.

Room smells like feet - we stayed on the 4th floor in an old room as apparently the new ones were booked out. Couldn't sleep as the carpet smelt of sweaty feet. Breakfast is pretty standard and location isn't bad either

Beautiful hotel, solid rooms and a great breakfast. As a slight downside, there's currently some sort of a construction site next doors, and I couldn't sleep too well due to it. Then again, it's temporary. [15.08.2017]

Nice enough hotel but location not as convenient as we originally thought. Also breakfast room is overcrowded every morning. On the positive side the room was modern and clean.

+: the good and still calm location, the staff, the cozy bed, the minibar, the clean rooms, the wifi
-: the shower is way too small, some TV channels did not work, the breakfast room furniture was dirty, the breakfast is only for those who prefer bacon, sausage and ham. Some more good (!) pastry would be fine.

Mini room with no view, but clean and has everything you need. And the location is perfect. Close to everything, but quiet. For the price I think it's good.

Nice hotel in good location for access to old town. Rooms are small, with little space between bed and desk. Ensuite bathroom was also small with very cramped shower cubicle, however it was always cleaned and well maintained. Breakfast was always a good selection and we'll prepared and the bar is perfect for a quiet drink whilst waiting for friends or a nightcap.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. It would be a 2 star hotel anywhere else at best. Rooms barely get cleaned, the morning breakfast is atrocious and the view we got was to a terrible old garden of a building that was fallimg apart.

You could argue it's cheap - but its still too expensive compared to what you get.
