Great service, great location, good food. Definitely a place that is worth a stay for a weekend from Riga. Next time we'll visit the SPA as well , it's said to be great.

Great for a weekend getaway. Amazing view from the balcony, nice swimming pool with warm salt water. We were there with kids and it was kid friendly, but would be even better for a romantic couple getaway.

I was very disappointed. They definetly are not 5 stars hotel. Price is much too high. Delux rooms reminds of 90 ties Spa complex Garden also is in very bad condition. Small and dark. Showers are provided with cheap shower cream etc.. carpets are brokenelevators are very old.many things what you don't want to see in 5 stars..

Nice hotel with plenty of restaurants and shops. Didn't get a chance to try the pay sauna but the public one was good. Very busy and lots of kids. Restaurants were all good as well.

Top class Hotel and Spa. The restaurant has a great menu. Really good wines affordable. Take your partner here for a weekend or the entire family during the summer. The hotel is on the beach.

Beautiful Hotel right on the beach in Jurmala. We went there off-season (mid-week May) so it was not crowded at all, and we could easily choose from the SPA treatments. It is recommended to order SPA treatments before you arrive so that you are sure you would get the ones you want. The pedicure with shellac is the best that I have ever had, so I can really recommend that one. It stayed beautiful for weeks and weeks. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the roomservice were great, as were the breakfast. Lots to choose from and they even served complimentary sparkling wine. As for the bubble bath area, that wasn't too impressive and rather expensive, so not worth the money.
We would definitely come back to this hotel for sure.response / report this review -

Excellent hotel, the Gardes SPA (for an additional fee) is excellent. The Spa service staff should engage in something and not continually talk among themselves Unfortunately, the big pool with a mangy sole sauna, disappointing. Excellent breakfast, high quality and varied food and of course - Prosecco sparkling wine The restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful, respect. Public premises looks significantly better than the rooms. Rooms are clean and tidy, but furniture and bathroom equipment are very cheap. I could not it to be held five-star hotel. I can recommend this hotel with a one condition - if you have to pay only half price. The full price is excessively high.

This is not 5* hotel! Need to pay deposit of 20 EUR before checkin. Pay-TV is starting almost automatically, which costs these 20 EUR. Pool is available only for persons with swimming hat! Select another hotel, if possible. Personel were unfriendly.

Good hotel and spa. Extraordinarily many shopping opportunities, good sporting facility. Excellent location, at the beach. Nice views from the restaurant. Lobby bar is excellent, restaurants decent, good wine and champagne selection

During 2 days stay on business purpose in this hotel I have faced a few problems that were not solved by the staff as I would expects from 5 star hotel.
First of all, I was not allowed to swim in a pool without swimming cap. I could blame myself of not reading the rules before entering a pool but the fact that men and women with short hair were not forced to use swimming caps seemed unfair (my hair were tied into a topknot). Another thing I have noticed while leaving the pool was that there were some swimming caps on sale. Unfortunately the girl that forbid me to swim forgot to find a solution for me.
Another thing I got from this 5 star hotel was bruised car (left my car in the hotel parking for the whole 2 days). It took me a few hours to get the case documented by police as the staff were calling one another, sending me from reception to security and back a few times. After I saw all this mess in local communication I called the police myself.
Nevertheless the location of the hotel is just beautiful.
To sum up, if you do not come to the hotel by car, have swimming cap and would also like to find the shops of fur coats or expensive sun glasses in front of the reception, the hotel might be the place for you.response / report this review -
