Nice breakfast. Clean room. The double bed were two single mattresses put together, what let a very uncomfortable split on the middle. Aside from that, overall fine.

Nice hotel in the old town of Riga. All the important places are within walking distance. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. There is also a superb pub Kwakinn next to the hotel.

Basic rooms but very clean and comfortable. Quiet friendly and Probably best location in town close to everything. Big plus is the Belgian beer cafe opposite one of the best bars I've ever been in with great food.

Really central location, right in the centre of the old town, within 10 minutes walk of most attractions. All you can eat breakfast was a nice bonus too. Rooms were basic, yet spacious. Pretty good value for money so can't complain for what you pay! Would recommend if you are after a simple, yet convenient base during your trip to Riga!

The room wasn't ready when I arrived, so I had to wait. Unfortunately, the hotel was very noisy. You can hear both street and inside noises as if there is no wall in between. Room cleaning was done on an ambiguous frequency; in five days, I've put up the 'Please clean' sign three afternoons, yet found the room as I had left it when I returned. One day, they knocked on the door around 8:30 when I was still sleeping. While showering for the first time, I found the shower gel bottle to be empty. Ultimately, they made me pay too much at checkout. Unfortunately I was quite tired at that point, so I only found out back home when I checked the receipt. I sent the hotel an e-mail regarding possibilities to get a refund for the amount I paid too much. However, after a lengthy process of a few weeks and many e-mails, things had gotten so complicated that I decided to take the loss.

Location is superb - right in the middle of the old town. Breakfasts are also great. Only thing that I didn't like was missing soundproofing.

Room was large and clean, but that was it. I would avoid staying here entirely during winter. There is no heating in the room (or if it is, is non-existent). Shower water is lukewarm at best when turned to maximum heat and is cold otherwise (during winter! I reported this to the staff and they were nonchalant about it, telling me that the water is hot). WiFi is non existent and slow (my room barely was able to receive signals). Breakfast is decent and changes everyday. The only redeeming thing about this place is that it is located in the middle of the Old Town, but the con of staying in the old town is that it is noisy at night. I'd recommend staying elsewhere instead unless the location really matters to you.

very bad service. no tea kettle. I was promised coffee, but the youngster at the reception didn't offered a coffee. He sipped his coffee Unfair and disgusting. Never will I return there

Good location within the old city, great place for large groups. Rooms were clean and functional, similar to a hostel. Breakfast buffet in crowded space. Basic selection.

Nice room, but nothing special. Breakfast buffet also just ok. The shower in our room was a 3 ft square. It was impossible to take a shower without touching the shower curtain. The TV is an old crt type. The location is great!

Our home for a week when we competed in the World Choir Games in 2014. I couldn't imagine that convent were turned to hotel. Amazing rooms and definitely will come back to billet. Price is really affordable.

Yes. There is a belgian ale house just outside the hotel. And yes, the hotel does serve an excellent breakfast.

the room was too dark. I would expect at least one general light source installed to illuminated the whole room. No safe or other lockable place for keeping your valuables, only option was to bring them to reception, but would you imagine for every hotel guest using this like that? Food was okay, but it could be better.

Cheap and cheerful. very central. The room was a bit spartan but adequate. My (single) room had a wooden strut placed strategically next to the bed (supporting the roof as it was top floor)., but otherwise comfortable.
