Overall everything got sorted and the staff was very attending when we had problems, but I wish we didn't have problems to solve, like long check in, booking two beds in a mixed dorm, then being sent to a men's dorm with one free bed, then Luxembourgish smell of cigarettes on our floor. That said they solved our lack of bed problem so had a nice stay.

This hostel is very conveniently located in luxembourg city. Staff is friendly and everything is very clean. However, there was no towel offered and breakfast was a little too early to enjoy.

I’m giving it 3 stars because it was sanitary and gave me what I typically ask for when it comes to hostel stays. It feels like a dorm though. And there are quite a few hidden prices. For a large towel it is €10 but you get €7 back once you checkout (still, that is €3 for 1 towel). The beds are fine, you have to make and unmake your bed as you arrive and leave. They offer a shuttle service but when I asked if I could be taken to the train station they told me it runs from 8am-10am (and I checked out at 9:30am so I don’t understand why they couldn’t help me out). All in all, it was an okay price, I’m assuming for the area. It was clean, and there was food.

The place was nice. They could do a better job with cleaning the time though. A previous guest in my room smeared something nasty on the wall next to the bed, and it had not been cleaned. Breakfast was simple, but nice.

Cheap and best in short. Parking space for my motorcycle. Sad that it is not a closed one, at least with a top roof. It was raining heavily and my motorcycle got herself a shower.

Basic rooms but with very comfy beds! It is quiet and calm, you can have a good rest. Breakfast is normal, with enough options to choose from. However it could last a bit longer (breakfast time ends at 9am).
Bring your own soap, as there is no soap in the bathroom, which I found really strange.

The rooms are basic, but nice for a hostel. Each room has large lockers for all your stuff, so bring a lock. There is also a restaurant on the main floor that offers reasonably-priced food (around €10 for soup, salad, main, and dessert).

Great rooms, clean and spacious. Fresh linen that you receive at the desk (and for yourself), and return when you leave. Great basic breakfast, small restaurant on site, pool table, ping pong tables too.

Excellent value and convenient location for the city centre and transport links to the airport. Very modern, clean and comfortable with a good restaurant on site and free WiFi.

Nice hostel with friendly staff. There is no airco though which makes it really hot on the higher floors. Breakfast is not great.

The Luxembourg Youth Hostel is the only game in town at its price point, and as a result it lacks some of the perks a place facing competition has. There's no wifi in the rooms (only the lobby), the on-site restaurant closes at 8 and there's almost nowhere else to eat nearby, and the staff were generally pleasant but unable to answer some pretty basic hosteller questions about transportation and food. The physical plant is pretty recent, so the rooms are nice enough. The showers are of that annoying "push the button for 30 seconds of widely-sprayed water" variety, and they'll charge you 2€ for shampoo. All in all, if you're reading this review, you're going to stay here because it's your only option, and it's fine, but it's certainly not a standout experience.

The Hostel is Okay if you plan to stay for a night. Staff is lazy and not really trying to make you feel welcome. No one greets you in the hostel, restaurant, halls. Not the best place for families with children. Breakfast less then basic. Wifi very bad. Location is good, walking distance to city center. Free parking.

New and neat. Location easy walking to most old city attractions. Sufficient breakfast included in booking. Outside tables are a great setting for meals or a drink. Only frustration was erratic wifi available only in lobby, dining area. Good value accommodation for Luxembourg.

Decent hostel and good value for money. Breakfast is included which is nice. Location is decent but it doesn't really have much of an atmosphere. €3 per night discount if you are a Hi member. WiFi is poor - little/no coverage in rooms and I had constant issues with the captive portal making me login again.

Nice cozy dorm rooms. Blanket provided with the bed was a bit small for a 6 feet tall person. Decent food in the restaurant named Melting Pot. The people attending to the guests at the reception are really helpful. Travel by the bus within the city is free on Saturdays. Nice clean washrooms with adequate space for bathing. Conveniently located at a walking distance from the bus station and some of the city's main attractions.
