A good strategic location to stay because it's very close to all places of interest. They serve fantastic local cuisine and the staff is very pleasant and accomodating. Very spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Best place to be if you happen to be in Polonnaruwa.

They have so many rooms but cleaness is very poor. Place is very large open area good for relaxed. One incident happened in the morning that we have ordered bed tea in to the room within 5 min they served tea and we have found cockroach eggs in tea hugs. We informed to reception and the replace the tea with very clean jug.

This place is good if you are looking for a budget hotel in Polonnaruwa. Situated near to main attractions hence easy to reach them. Food is ok, you get what you paid for.

Based on the good reviews I booked this hotel on my trip to Polonnaruwa with my wife and two kids. The hotel is located at a calm place away from the town. There is a pool. Room is spacious and clean. The hotel is beautiful with nice surroundings.
Sadly there are some minus points too. While we were there, there was a function at the hotel yet to begin. But according to me the hotel is not prepared to that. I think the manager cum receptionist is incompetent in serving guests. There were only two girls (just after school !) to serve in the night, but they served us well. There were no toiletries in the bathroom other than a small soap piece. Luckily we brought our toiletries ! The pool is small and uncleaned and filled with tree leaves. I think the manager has to improve much more in hospitality.
If you are staying here, try to avoid food from hotel since they are too overpriced and not tasty as the comments. I thought we are served with the dishes from the other function that going on.
On the next day I was at the front desk to complete my payments to leave the hotel. But until 7.00 a.m. the manager is not there ! There is no any credit card payment option even this hotel has a one star. Fortunately I had brought some money with me. Usually I do not take much money with me on trips due to security reasons.
Also, they have a huge printed menu for food items. But most of them are unavailable. Manager has so many reasons for it. Finally, they give what they have and not what you want and you have to eat it.

For a 1 star hotel it provides great amenities (Pool, Bar, Restaurant). Food and service was superb. Rooms are in very good conditions and clean.

Decent hotel in Polonnaruwa. Very close to Parakrama Samudraya, Pothgul Vehera and Statue of "Pulathisi". Friendly staff and delicious food.
