This is the main national hospital of srilanka. The government funds the hospital. This hospital has various kinds of services and sections for every kind of illnesse from legs to head :) The hospital gives you free treatments and medicine but its very crowded and you have to stay in a waiting list for months as people all around the country takes treatments from here. Nurses and doctors are friendly and this is a clean hospital.

The main hospital of Sri Lanka, which is equipped to cater almost all medical treatment requirement. This is located over a very large area and consists of a quite a lot of doctors and supportive staff. Being a government hospital, this provides free service to the public. There are many entrances to the place from main roads depending on which department you want to go to.

Main hospital in Sri Lanka every thing is free but the doctors are not giving their full attention to patients but if you pay and chanel General Hospital doctors they are giving 100% of their service to you. I recommend you to don't go this place because they have given wrong medicine to my father & when we go ask they told it is a very simple thing. These doctors are studied from our money but after they became a doctor they only think about money. If you need to meet a doctor please don't go to this place go to private hospital.

This is the main government hospital of Sri Lanka. This is equipped with many state of arts facilities. Well trained and qualified doctors are serving here in this Hospital. This hospital has almost all departments including newly built neurological department. One of the key features is this hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the Asia. Though this hospital is give all the treatments free of charge, this has paying wards too. It gives more comfortable for the patients who seek freedom. There are some people who don’t like to visit private hospitals also don’t like to stay at the normal wards. This paying wards are very helpful for them.

Most important and busiest hospital in Sri Lanka.

Recently i went to Colombo general hospital for a long time after. I really wonder the difference. Most of the buildings are reconstructed, Old buildings are renovated. I felt that i am at private hospital. Wards, toilets are clean or almost clean. Staff is also good than earlier.
