This is sub railway station in Kelani Valley Line. This station will be closed it operation on 31 March, will replace by Makumbura Multimodel Center, Kottawa. A small lovely railway station gonna be in history. Good Bye Malapalla Railway Station. Hope Sri Lanka Railway will maintain you as lovely memory.

one of the oldest Railway station in kelaniweli rail road. same as many sub stations. But the scenarios are amazing. good place to hang out at night If it is not illegal. there is one member as a sub station Master. he handle all the operations at daily basis. most of the trains are usually get stoped here. but some of them aren't
