  This is the mahamevnawa Buddhist monastery located at the Kandy Jaffna highway atMadawala Ulpotha, Mathale. It's a very calm and quiet place with good sceneries and lots of Buddhist monks meditating. Hey Siri Gautam shakyamuni mahashaya is under construction and it is located in a place where there are good sceneries right around.

  Good place to visit. It is a Buddhist temple which has biggest stupa of central province. There is a Jaya Shri maha Bo tree and Ananda Bo tree. Everybody should visit
