Nice and generous hosts, very good rice and curry, beautiful guesthouse and rooms. We liked our 2-night stay so much at Saman's guesthouse!

Rice and curry is the main serving here and for 800Rs per head, it’s pretty underwhelming. Granted, it’s a tourist area and so prices are hiked but the staff are lackadaisical in providing a good experience. Personally the Dahl redeemed the meal for me - that’s good stuff.

Do not expect to eat anything else than the delicious rice & curry served by the owners. The rest is not worth it whilst the rice & curry is delicious. Of course, way too many food for two people. We appreciated the explanation of all vegetables that were used for the dishes. Quite heavy on the stomach but well, this is rice& curry!

Don't bother to go there.They have the worst food service.Ordered fried rice with vegetables they gave me just carrots and rice with some leafs.Charged 750 rupee.Worst service I ever got in srilanka

The owner is a very friendly elderly man who is very proud of the courses on his menu. We enjoyed a simple fried rice with chicken for lunch.
