Good place for a hangout or meeting. They serve a range of drinks, snacks and cakes. Quality of the food is not excellent, staff are friendly. Ambiance is little above average. Tgeh do have a outdoor seating area(not a big area)

This has been a regular stop for me for business meetings and short planned operations meetings. The coffee is good, slightly pricier. They have a nice cozy meeting room which you can reserve on hourly basis.

Really great atmosphere! Great place to sit back, relax and have a talk with old friends. Prices are the same as any coffee house in Colombo, but the food tastes great!

Superb Location but it will quickly get crowded. Very hard to find a parking place and it is a massive burden. The meals are tasty and filling. Even the drinks served are also fresh and nice. It is a good place to have quick corporate coffee meetings. They have projector facility, but the meeting room is not ideal to host meetings in afternoons.

Loved the Iced chocolate and the atmosphere out there. Staff is friendly and efficient on taking orders and delivery quickly. You can sit inside with your laptop and you can work for sometime by plugging the charger to the wall socket. Parking available. Payments are accepted by card and cash.

Good choices of coffee and a quite place to spend some quality time with your friends and family. Prices are reasonable and excellent staff with great reception.
Not crowded in the evening after 4pm
Should give this place a try one more time

Nice place to have a meal. Delicious food. I think it was slightly overpriced. Good place to hang out and use a laptop in peace. There was a very annoying crow that kept stealing people's food. Hope the management takes care of it soon.

It's a cosy place to unwind your stress with some quick snacks, dessert & coffee (hot or cold). Conveniently located as well. There's an outdoor seating area with a big screen to have a smoke and catch a game.

I have gone into Java Lounge multiple times, and very often there is no one available to serve me, and I am forced to wait until someone appears at the cashiers desk. The drinks are truly terrible - iced chocolate tastes like some chocolate mixed in iced water - much like the name suggests. Every time I go in there the service is worse than the last, even despite the facade they try to put up with the forced “good evenings” as you enter and desperate “thank you’s” as you leave. I don’t know how they have that much staff and still manage to make me wait to get my one drink, and only after I remind the waiter a few times of what my order was, after I see that the people who arrived after me have already got their drinks. So either they forgot my order completely or they just want to make me wait to teach me that patience is a virtue.

The frappes are also awful. The last frappe I got was the brownie frappe and I really think they got the recipe from like wikihow AND they still managed to mess it up. Brownie frappes (and any drink really) needs to be manageable to actually consume but somehow they manage to defy this necessity and instead create the monstrous brownie frappe as if to make us do the blending work ourselves to try and redeem this truly horrendous drink. Where do I begin? In a brownie frappe, brownie chunks are not a necessity but java lounge instead of just ignoring the chunks altogether decide to blend them with the drink creating tiny undrinkable and uneatable pieces of brownie. As well as blending the ice to be the same size as these brownie “chunks”. So essentially I can’t chew the brownie because it’s too small and the rest of the drink is too watery and not the right consistency and I end up chewing on abnormally large pieces of ice that they can’t blend to the right size. And then when I just try to drink the thing whole (without wasting time to bite the brownie) it just tastes like iced water with chocolate mixed in so like legit are they just reusing iced chocolate but throwing in some brownies for kicks? Just get bigger pieces and maybe a few people will forgive you! But seriously even if they do get bigger chunks, don’t go here - just go to legit any other cafe in that area they are ALL better.

Loved the cappuccino and the quick service at Java Lounge. Java Lounge is also a great place for small tech meetups, with 10 or so people attending. An overhead projector and screen is provided in an enclosure with a rugged-finish theme.

Lovely service. Sometimes it's not that good. But I go there mostly to meet my friends or for studies and it's nice. But their wifi is not that good. But everything else is great. Outside smoking area is good but the only problem is that there is no privacy from the public there. It's just few pots of plants. And anyone can walk in and out from there which is bad

Who does not know about Java Lounge in Sri Lanka!!! The go to place for coffee and breakfast. The Breakfast is good considering the price. Its most certainly a good place to get work done with no one to disturb you !!! #natnzin

The closest thing you'll get to Starbucks in Sri Lanka. The ambiance is great, service is great, food is great. It's a nice place to get some work done as well (lots of plug outlets)

Cozy and warm outlet, they a variety of beverages (including coffee menu), small bites, mains, desserts. Good brunch as well. The staff are very friendly and prices are reasonable. A good place for quick bites.

This was our 1st stop of the 31st Nights colombo city roam, and it certainly wasn't a disappointment by any means. Java Lounge offers scrumptious desserts such as brownies and puddings. Their hot chocolate drink is a must try that comes with a topping of whipped cream.. a great energy booster for sure.
