As a service provider, I must say that this place is lousy. They don’t pay on time and they try to get out of payment by hook or by crook. This is NOT a single instance. This repeated several times. However, I do believe that this is due to the Service company JLL not giving them the proper information. Caveat to service providers:: be very very careful with them!!!

One of the HSBC's global service centres in Colombo. This BPO provides over 2500 employment to the Sri Lankan employees. Good working environment for the staff.
Depending on the geographical area for your service unit your employement timing are changed.
They provide transport to the employees.
There are many restaurants nearby hence no problem of getting food. Further HSBC provides meals.response / report this review -

Worked at a night shift for 2 years 3 months. Ideal for entry level job seekers to start their career. Kind of repetition of same work so recommend to get either promoted or shift to some other job gaining experience from here. usually you get too much work at a night shift here but good for people who reside far as they get free transport. will meet many people and your work life will depend on person whom you report to so don't mess with him/her.

This is one of five HSBC service centers around the globe and has a workforce of 3000 people.
Not a call center, how ever there are some sort of back office business is dealing within this premises. HSBC securities services also operates in this building, handling sort of Investment banking functions for foreign clients.

This is good place to work. Place operates 24 hours a day. This is a back office of hsbc bank.
