Nice place to stay. As it is a 3star hotel they are giving good service. And you can have a very good view of lake from here and also you can see Buddha statue from here. Calm and peace.

A very very awesome hotel with awesome view from the room, very good food for all the tourists from all the places. Personally I enjoyed the dinner over there with my better half a lot. Pleasant environment, humble staff and cleaniness is awesome. I prefer to stay whenever I come to Kandy Srilanka

Star hotel for those would like to have enjoy Kandy city, Temple of tooth with ample space for leisure, nature & parking. Staffs are friendly & guide you well. Rooms are in good condition even though hotel was build sometime back. For Best viewing, book Royal Pavilion 960 Room.

Great place with nice rooms, great restaurant by the pool side with a wide variety of food for breakfast and spacious toilets. It's a little expensive and I didn't like the fact that they charged my credit card before check in time. Check out the gem store in the hotel with exquisite gems and for affordable prices.

Very Good and Nice hotel. Service is best. foods very tasty. Rooms are more comfortable with Sofa, extra chair and balcony with chairs. Cool and green environment.

This is not four star but more or else a two star. Limited amount of tea or coffee given pet day. If you require more you have to pay. This is a steep winding road to walk on to go sight seeing. The towels have no absorption what so ever. The balcony has not even been cleaned properly

Another great hotel with wonderfully spacious rooms. People say that the rooms are "outdated" are completely wrong. it is like when you visit a museum or a lived in hotel/house whatever it is "dated". You have to realize that you are a guest there and you should show more respect. If you want luxury you should stay at home ( my opinion).

So back to the hotel: people were very friendly AND professional and we made some friends there with whom we talk to on a regular basis. Very helpful too because one of the ladies my girlfriend and I befriended pointed us to a wonderful guide that showed us the hidden gems and architecture of Kandy.

Conclusion if you ever visit Kandy book at this hotel, you won't forget it.

Its a very good Hotel with a swimming pool and a Bar.. one of the very few places in Srilanka where you find Shisha ( Hookah ).. Rooms were really good and cozy.. Service was really good too.. Staff - very kind.. we arrived late to the hotel to they offered us a free Dinner buffet.. with live music.. it was a very good gesture..

One of the best located hotels in Kandy we stayed in. Top service and unbeatable view of Kandy Lake. We had a perfect holiday at Thilanka Kandy and would recommend it. Rates were also reasonable.

One of the best locations and hotels in Kandy we have stayed in. Have a look at the Royal Pavillion which has some secrets to offer. We loved the food here and can only recommend this hotel.

Cousin's wedding was there last week. Working with hotel staff is so easy as they are very friendly. Food is tasty and price is reasonable. The view near the pool is amazing. Whole kandy town can be seen there. But the parking facility should be expanded

This is an OK accommodation. Although it's top rated on TripAdvisor, it lacks a lot of basic amenities. They even charge for extra tea bags. The property is nice, pool with bar and a nice view is the best thing here. Live music during night sets a good tone.

This well-known hotel in Kandy can be recommended for it's wonderful buffets! Well, we got a good deal on that particular day but the room wasn't what we expected. Making one king/queen size bed by putting two single beds together is not a very appropriate thing to do.. The pool has no heating system, so we had to forget using it as the water was freezing cold. Good staff though. All in all it wasn't a bad stay but I would visit the place again only if they can fix these shortcomings.
