Dirty rooms. Dirty bathrooms
Very bad staff with too much arrogant
When we canceled the room they didn't pay us money back .
We end up staying in different hotel

Pls don't book this hotel and waste your money

Situated on the bank of the Kandy Hillside this hotel has a magnificent view of the entire Kandy town. The hotel is a decent place to stay with a relaxing environment and friendly staff. The food is excellent and usually a buffet is laid out. There is also a bar and a swimming pool along with a snooker table

Nice location and ambience. Basic amenities, doubtful wifi / internet connection. Buffet layout just about satisfactory. Poor service especially room service.

Hotel Hill Top had the best breakfast and evening buffet of all the hotels we visited. It offers a great view of Kandy, has excellent amenities and is a 15 minute walk into the city.
The top criteria of any hotel is "a good nights sleep", unfortunately this where Hotel Hill Top is poor. The sounds from the road traffic and nearby station mean that unless you are a deep sleeper this accommodation is worth a miss.

A good place to have a great view of the Kandy city. Food is okay. I don't like the slippery slopes in the corridors. Be carefull if you are wearing highheels. The parking lot needs some more work. Its so dusty and you don't like to get down once you parked there. Also its bit far from the entrance of the hotel. I suggest you to ask from the hotel to park your vehicle and get down from the entrance.

2 to 3 star hotel. Located close both Bus and Train station. Under new management who are looking to do several upgrades. Watch out for the steep climb for the hotel. New Section rooms are better in quality. Good cross view of the Kandy city and train station.

I stayed for two nights in hilltop and I can't say I was blown away or loved it, it was okay. The beds are not comfortable and you can hear everything from outside, the corridor, from inside your room. People kept knocking on the door and singing in the middle of the night, woke up a few times. However the hotel is close to a lot of things so that's a plus. The pool was nice and the breakfast buffet is good. Overall needs improving.

Beautiful property. Well maintained. But does not have lift. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Rooms were nice with a great view. Breakfast buffet spread is very nice.

Very nice place to stay and a good view. Rooms are quite spacious. Overall, the service is poor. The vegetarian spread could also be better. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay.

Rooms and the service is good. You can view Kandy city from the hotel. At night the city looks amazing from the hotel. My only worry is the food. Didn't like the food and the selection that much.
