  Hotel Blue Note Hikkaduwa .You have a great view of the surf at this hotel. Staff are so polite and always willing to help you with anything. The owner (Felix) is a very nice guy and his service is excellent. great food! beautiful ocean view. Highly recommended for seafood hunters and lovers. I will definitely visit again.

  Great beach hotel few feet from beautiful waves. Great place to sip a beer and enjoy the sunset. Service is great and owners are very helpful with any question you have. Recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the good work.

  Waiter had us write down what we wanted to eat and then gave our food to another party who then said it wasn't theirs it went back to kitchen came back to ours stone cold and wasn't what we ordered anyway went back second time even worse,,, sorry for bad review it looked nice

  ++ Good location! Nice restaurant on the beach with a bonfire at nights. Located so close to night partying locations and surfing shops.
  
  -- Smelling bathrooms. Slow showers. Bathrooms really need a renovation!!

  Slowest food service so far in Sri Lanka. Noticeable disparity about how they serve customers on different tables. The waiters need to be trained far better on taking customer orders.

  The "Hotel Blue Note" in Hikkaduwa was like the cherry on top of my holiday in Sri Lanka!
  The restaurant offers a huge variety of seafood, beef, pork, local/traditional and even original german food. All of it tastes delicious, as far as I can judge :)
  What makes the visits to the Blue Note unforgettable is the location and mood - having a good meal or some drinks directly at the ocean (5m to 10m!), with the feet stuck in the sand, with a bonfire at the beach and sitting between palms feels like paradise!
  Great praise to the staff! All of them are extremely friendly and helpful and the overall service leaves nothing to be desired! The owner Felix is very pleasant, speaks fluently german and is always there when his guests need him!
  
  I can't wait for next year and my next visit to Hikkaduwa and the Hotel Blue Note! All in all I can recommend to visit Felix and his crew in Hikkaduwa, you won't regret it! :)
