Great amenities at an affordable price in close proximity to the city centre. Be mindful to get your meals outside though.

This was meant to be a quick stop for the night at Kandy. The rooms are average, but the service is terrible. There is so much potential for this hotel but let down by the staff. I will NOT recommend it. The breakfast is terrible, there are mosquitoes in the room and spiders in the bathroom. You need to ask repeatedly for quilts and clean sheets.

Staff and management were courtious but quite unprepared. Although the hotel claims to have room service, the service is quite disappointing. Had to wait for nearly an hour for a plat of French Fries. Breakfast was very basic. Good location and the management can do a lot better to turn the place around.

A lesser known place with rooms of various categories. based on the price rates, some are air conditioned and some are with fans. Their Sri Lankan menu tasted quite well and was very authentic when comparing to Western and others.

We got hit up from a tuk-tuk driver related to the owner. He promised us good, clean rooms. We gave it a try and thought, that for the price of 2500 per night, it was true. So we finally booked two nights and already paid it. Sadly we didn't see by then, that the hotel has no atmosphere. The owner and the most of the staff totally ignored us, never talked or asked anything. We didn't feel wecome at all. That we couldn't close the window in our room or that it hadn't a moskito net was okay in comparison with the fact that there were always some random people in the house which were VERY loud (late evening and early morning). First, we thought about staying more days in kandy, but after the two nights, we didn't want it anymore.

The only good thing in Bamiyan Hotel is the room. It was clean. But no hot water.

The breakfast was a joke. We were told it starts at 8:30, at the time we were there the table was prepared for us with a ton of untoasted white toast, 4 fried eggs but cold and 4 juices. After asking (first we needed to find someone as no one was at the restaurant) and waiting for 30 min we got other things to eat and a coffee. At one of the tables were the leftovers from last night.

At the evening time the employees got drunk and it was very loud.

The laundry we had made there was not ready at the day promised and at the next day it was still very wet.

The room price for 4 people was 5.500 Rp. Including breakfast.
