Couldn't recommend this hostel enough, absolutely loved it her. Maria the manager was so welcoming and just lovely. I arrived unwell as I had food poisoning from the days travelling and Maria kept checking on me to make sure I was okay, made homemade soup for me and kept me and my friend in a separate dorm for the night as it was quiet season so I wouldnt be disturbed. The hostel it's self is very central to Kandy and even has it own cheap Tuk Tuk with bandara the funny driver! The beds are comfortable and each have there own fan. Balcony in the rooms is a bonus. The roof top chill out area is also amazing novelty. Ps shakara the dog is so cute!!!

If you get off from the bus station or train station, the hostel is little far. For a backpacker like me, it is really comfortable for a overnight sleep. They have clean common area and clean and comfortable beds with power socket and clean restrooms. If you are staying next to the balcony, always ensure that the windows are locked, coz the invation of monkeys are unexpected and unavoidable. These is a cute dog name Chiara, if you are alone, she will give you a company. I'm glad to see some weights available in the basment, if you are a fitness freak that would help you. Perfect breakfast served by very friendly staffs. If you do not have a back pack I would strongly recommend you to walk up and down for a city tour. You will really enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake. There are individual fans to keep the guest cool. The rates in the hostel is very cheap and worth every penny. There is a rooftop location to hangout, which is very cool. Just as Dambulla City Hostel I had a good stay during my SL back packing.

Small and casual place. free breakfast is not quality. This is like a hostel.you can find a double room for the same price to stay in kandy. Choice is yours.

This is a very well set up hostel with many funky and cool characteristics which make it unique (I won't spoil them for you, just explore). The staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a few nice common areas which make meeting people easy. The location is a bit far out of town but it was fine for me. I appreciated the mosquito net and attempts to mosquito proof the windows (although not perfect, nothing is).

Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere. Caretaker Anthony is the man. He is very trustworthy and show you the local tricks to enjoy the secrets of Kandy

Far from the city center. The dorms are however quite nice (I was sick, and this was a good place to spend in bed), there was a lot of people around. But you have to take a Tuk Tuk every time you go somewhere. No shops. Breakfast was basic.

Loved the hostel,its a very cool chilled hostel not very far from the kandy lake! Hotel Manager is also very cooperative,moreover She also arranges the day trip for kandy city and kandyan dance show! Just Awesome
