Service is fast, but staff very rude - especially the Arab working in the front desk. Keeps yelling at others on the top of his voice. Very uncomfortable. The token system in place isnt used properly - so, if its your first time, you might not be able to figure out whats what until you speak to an officer there.
But really appreciate the fast turnaround of the documents.

They give preference to payments by debit/credit cards. Cash is also accepted - but only at 1 counter. So bring along your VISA/AMEX card to make it faster. Attestation costs roughly LKR 6800 at the time for a single document. Varies with the type of document to be attested.

And the location is incorrect here. It is in Thunmulla junction - in front of Laksala. Open from 9am to 330pm. They might go off for lunch for about 30 mins in the afternoon. Will take about 20 mins to process your document if systems are not down.

If your purpose of Visit to the Embassy is for ATTESTATION :

Then you better visit the UAE EMBASSY which is located at THUMMULLA JUNCTION, exactly opposite LAKSALA & BARISTA •••• Just next To the Commercial Bank in Thummulla Junction Round A board
I visited the office today 11-04-2016
for attestation by 12:40PM and got everything done within 20 minutes , the service is professional & Fast

** No Parking available in their premises
** You have to switch off your mobile phone whilst entering the premises
** you need to get thru by the security scanning area as air port

The place and staff are ok but the problem is that they have no place people to sit, we have to wait outside to get the stamped medical report cause the gate is closed from 11.00am - 1.30pm and the guard come and ask people to leave the place which is insane. I mean, common, we are paying LKR 7500 right..?
