  I was in Colombo for work and as there are so many gem shops, it makes it difficult to know where to shop. A friend recommended Dazzle and I was not disappointed. Great prices and great gems. Unfortunately, do to the flooding, they did not have as much stock as they normally would but I was able to find two lovely blue sapphires; one for myself and a friend. Staff are knowledgeable and really nice. The prices are reasonable so don't let the tag scare you; bargaining is expected. I would highly recommend stopping here if you are looking for sapphires.
