Wow,,what a city whcih is rich in supermarkets (arpico super center, cargills food city), restourants for food and drinks (pizza hut/ aroma cafe/ letona cafe/ hotwok and many more), many buddhist temples with historic records ( maaliga thenna, waran, pilikuththuwa, aththanagalla, Abhayasekararamaya), withing the radious of 10km. Grinding mills, textiles , communications, fruits, vehicals and parts, garages , and schools as well..

Huge traffic after 6.45 AM weekdays. Traffic may depend on the police officer wirking there. Avoid these times if poasible Morning 6 45-7.45, evening 5.15-7.15

Very old town Situated in Kandy Colombo main road. every day 5am to 9pm you will take 10-30min pass this town with huge traffic, road construction going on. dusty in sunny days and muddy most of da day. Better not to use open vehicles across the town. Most of popular banks and services situated in this town. But No parking space. Road construction will finish mid of 2018 and town will changed completely after that.

Yakkala is a peaceful town that have all necessary things. All banks, all super markets and pharmacies, 24x7 three-wheel park and bus stop for main cities. General hospital in Gampaha which is 4 Km distance. 30 Km to Colombo, 10 Km to Nittabuwa, 88 Km to Kandy, 66 Km to Kurunagala and 16 Km to Kirindiwela. There are some star rated hotels in Yakkala town. There is petrol shed that have all kind of fuel you want.

Yakkala junction is a very important place on colombo - Kandy road. You can go colombo, Kandy, Gampaha & Radawana. Always considerable traffic there.

Yakkala town is a very important town on Kandy road where you can go to Colombo, Kandy, Gampaha & Radawana. There are many banks, shops, Schools & etc where peoples' can get anything from this town.
