I couldn’t go. It seems to me very expensive. Only half day without lunch is more expensive than what I paid for the visa to get into the country. I would love to do it, but it is too much money.

Extraordinary day with kids. We has so many fun and learned lessons about rice.
Tried all works which farmers do everyday. Ate sticky rice you should try it.
The fee is expensive but it worths. Food is expensive so you can skip it. Not very special for food.

Amazing experience at the living land farm. The whole tour is very well organized from the free hotel pickup to physically trying out all the steps to grow sticky rice. The free food we had at the end was delicious and it was enough that I was glad we opted out for lunch. It's definitely a little pricey on a backpackers budget but it's still worth it.

We did the rice experience with lunch. Quite fun and educational too! Staff very knowledgeable and pleasant, good for kids and adults alike. Served a large snack at the end but also purchased lunch - so much food! Bring your appetite for sure!

An absolutely fantastic way to spend the morning just on the outskirts of Luang Prabang. As we were part of a large group (about 25 in total) we were split up at the start to take part in all the activities. We were shown how rice is cultivated from start to finish and even had the chance to get stuck in (quite literally in the mud!). We were also given a demonstration of how the rice, once grown, ends up in its final form ready to be eaten - which we did right at the end! Thank you guys!

This is a brilliant activity to take the children on and learn about the full life cycle of rice production. We farmed rice, ate rice and shot a bow and arrow. If your in luang prabang with children then take them along as they will love getting muddy and will benefit from educational activities.

Ir was absolutely fantastic! Our guide Lee is amazing and tought us the role process of a rice crop. The comunity is so kind and at the end we had a wonderful meal.
