Spent 3 nights in September 2017. Excellent location - opposite Mekong River. Surrounding peaceful and tranquil. A sense of serenity surrounds the immediate area. Close to restaurants and night market and pubs.

Heritage Chic
After spending a few days cruising down the Mekong, we disembarked on our first experience into the heart of Laos. With welcome massages and drinks, Burasari Heritage set a wonderful tone for our stay here in Luang Prabang. The rooms themselves are beautifully designed. The open concept with exposed shower, the french restoration furniture pieces, and the teak paneling and art showcasing traditional Laotian jewelry all create an environment that is stylish and inviting yet maintains it's local identity which I consider hallmarks of a successful boutique hotel.
Facing the Nam Khan River and around the the corner from the main boulevard that traverses the town and serves as it's heart line with cafes, bars, and the nightly market, the hotel is ideally situated. Mike, the manager, was incredibly helpful and kind, and took us to Utopia, a beautiful and eclectic riverside bar and lounge with stilted verandas on our last night.
Sitting on the balcony watching both the flow of bikes and the flow of the river with chilled drinks on hand made for a peaceful refuge when not exploring the local sites.response / report this review -

I don't know where to start with how amazing this place is!
I am lying in the bedroom of the hotel right now and thinking how much I needed to give this place the top rating it deserves. It certainly is one of the best places I have stayed in my life.
The attention to every detail from your comfort and enjoyment to the furnishings is impeccable. The breakfast is delicious with an a la carte option to go with the fresh buffet. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They could not be more giving in their approach to hospitality. Everything that you could want is provided.

Great. Comfy beds, hot shower, tasty food. Staff with service mind and hospitality. The only downside i can think of is when the guests upstairs have irregular routine, like walking around in their rooms at four a.m., then the hotel guests downstairs might suffer a lack of sleep.

We were being transferred by " The Chiang Hotel " due to unserviceable room before we check in. The Burssari hotel is beautiful. The toilet is nice, big and clean. The bed is comfortable. Service is excellent. Breakfast is good. They offered to charge me half price as transferred guests, without me asking.
I will come back to stay this hotel. Highly recommended.response / report this review -
