Awesome breakfast, great service. Room amenities are okay
all staff is very kindness. nice view and room. this is fantastic area :)
I had a great visit here. It was great.
Very nice place to stay. Breakfast made to order, staff very attentive and polite, beds and pillows nice. Rooms clean and modern but pretty. The location can't be beat!
Best hotel I ever stay in Laos!
Places are clean. Service are comprehensive. Staff are helpful
They provide a small gift every day when I come back!
this was a delightful hotel. I booked a waterlilly room for 5 nights. The room was large and included a bath and opened onto a beautiful courtyard. The checkin and breakfast staff were very attentive and we felt very comfortable from the moment we came here. The location is great just near the mekong and a 5 minute walk into town. highly recommended
This place is way too under rated. Perfectly located at the heart of pretty much all the attraction spots in the old quarters and with the free and available bicycles, makes visiting the night market, Mt.Phousi, all the amazing cafes and Wats around as easy and fun as it can get. The employees are very polite and helpful, breakfasts are of variety of choices (try their tamarind jam). Rooms are really cozy, maintained well, bottled waters replenished (a lot), and many books are provided in the room (Lonely Planet book really helped). Travel packages, transportation, laundry, wifi are also available. Also, if you're interested in participating in the alms giving, the monks do pass the street of this hotel. One really good massage center is just around the corner, Frangipani. Totally worth the stay.
Good. Really good. I think who travel laos, they need to go this hotel.
stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are well appointed and the courtyard is quite beautiful. Excellent service from the staff and the breakfast was delicious each morning, particularly the lao soup. Our room was a frangipani room
Lotus Villa is strategically located near the tourist area and they have great staff and accommodation! There are many popular cafe around the hotel too!
Attentive staff and great service for made to order breakfast
My family stayed here for two nights. The entire procedure, from booking, confirming transportation services, checking-in and out was very smooth. It is more like a family style hotel in a traditional Laos style house. We had Frangipani Room (on the 1st floor) and Lotus Room (on 2nd floor). Lotus room is a bit dark but you can see the Alms Giving Ceremony from your balcony. The service was awesome and the rooms were very clean. There were a lot of choices for breakfast. Location is great, quiet but walking distance to almost everything in town.
If you want to book this hotel, be sure to book ahead. Otherwise, it sold out very quickly. The most affordable way to book is through its own website and you can use Paypal to make deposit. A little over priced compared to the local income level.
We have just returned from staying at Lotus Villa for 4 nights. The hotel is in an excellent position, minutes on foot from the Mekong and good restaurants. It is very pretty and kept spotlessly clean with a beautiful garden where you have breakfast and can sit in the shade in the heat of the day. We had a ground floor room overlooking the garden with a table and chairs outside on our terrace where we had breakfast, with a good choice available. I particularly liked their home-made hot hibiscus tea.
The room had a large and very comfortable bed and maid service came twice a day. The room had good lighting and high quality toiletries. It was so quiet at night.
The staff are friendly and helpful and keen to practice their English and smile when we try to speak Laotian.
We liked the hotel so much that we are going back in December.
Most peaceful 4 days I had in a villa
Imagine to get ready to rest after 10p.m. and get up at 6 a.m. to watch alms giving in absolute tranquility in front of your villa? Imagine no TV in your room to block all the nonsense breaking news from CNN, BBC or whatever, but only the night rains hitting the banana trees' huge palm leaves? Imagine no telephone in your room that will ring? I enjoy my happy and comfortable stay here during my leisure trip to Luang Prabang. Villa staff were polite and they try their best to communicate with you. 5-10 minutes walk to the Traditional Storytelling Theatre and Mekong river bank.
Very good service by staff (especially by Sai and Manager Oscar). We have a very pleasant 5 nights stay recently. The room is very clean and comfortable, and surprisingly little gifts for guests everyday. Really enjoy our trip though the weather is hot and humid.
Service is very good. And room is clean & good
